Not cov related but think they deserve a mention from being a non leauge club just ten years ago to being a game away from the championship is some going, They have a very small budget compared to most in the leauge just goes to show if you have eleven players putting there all in for the club what can be acheved. Well done yeovil

I don't care for Sheffield Utd, so I'm happy enough with this. I'd like Northampton to come up in the other playoff.

I will be seriously pissed off if both yeovil and bmth go up. Literally the ONLY positive about league one football for me was two away matches within an hours drive.

It will be like a sick joke. Come on Swindon or Brentford!

I'm with you there, although swindon is not far from me

I guess they don't do the away goals rule in the playoffs, so they've at least got half an hour to pull themselves together. When Swindon got their second you could almost see Brentford prepare for heartache.

I know a few CCFC fans including Otis wanted Gary Johnson as our manager years ago. For me there are only three managers I have respected since Shankly and Clough. GJ, Stuart Baxter and Dario Gradi. Others are motivated by money or power. These three have travelled the world studying their profession. SORRY there is one more to add, Tony Adams

The fact that we sacked our manager out after 3 draws two of which were against sides who just played in the play offs. Especially after that manager just signed 9 players.
Gary Johnson would have probably got sacked as soon as we hit a wobbly spell. Yeovil had one mid season, they stuck with their man.

If you are suggesting Thorn would have got us to the playoffs....you are proper mad!
Your love for him is blind.

Still its nice to argue about Thorn again..oh I long for those happier days when we only disagreed about that useless lump.

I'm not a thorn fan but when he took over he got our team playing some decent stuff then lost some crucial playersand was looking forward to the next season but we then lost players and got two keepers so we were pretty much favourites to go down IMO

We stuck with your man during the wobbly spell that lasted an entire season, which is one of the reasons we ended up playing Yeovil at all.

I know much better deeper worrying debates these days.

Yes I am mad I would have wanted to see where we were in December before sacking anybody. I do think having 5 managers has had a massive negative impact

He's got posters of Phil and Grant Mitchell on his bedroom wall.

At least one of them is shaved to look hard though, isn't he? I forget which, I hate EastEnders (the show, not the people...I'm 50% cockernee myself).

On a serious note, who would have thought about Brentford or Yeovil being promoted at the start of the season?
