We need somebody to go fucking mental at the pussys we call players.

Make Lati watch that shit back and tell him it's embarrassing.

Make BTA watch that miss back this week and last and tell him he's being paid good money so what the fuck is it
They would just laugh in your face.

Let's face it, if Lampard had got involved after the match that could have been a match winner!!! FFS
It's 4th January and that is a contender for the worst post of 2025 😆
Er, OK Do I get a prize?

*24th (second Warwickshire) regiment of foot were the primary British who fought at Rorkes drift Evo 👍
Incorrect. Raised in Warwickshire but by the time of the South African campaigns, the 24th foot were very much based in and very much a Welsh regiment.
Commanded over all at Rorkes drift by a Royal Engineer though - Lt Chard.

We look poor because we are poor. But the salient fact is that, for most, poor is in comparison to teams expecting to be in and around the play offs. We’re a mid table champ budget club. That’s where we should be looking. We can’t pay big enough wages to consistently challenge top end.
Don’t sell that dream to us then, and exhort us to take up STs and merchandise to fund a more consistent challenge. No more Prem Package for me I’m afraid. I just don’t think the value is there anymore. Supposed to be a hedge against general inflationary rise (which didn’t happen) and a free ST first season back in Prem if in that 5 year window. Just don’t see that happening tbh.

As one of shmmeee’s favourite targets, a boomer pensioner, I am obviously loaded. Except I’m not. I really will have to think very carefully about just how much money I can afford to spend on something which st the moment isn’t all that enjoyable most of the time.

Yes, I went to Sixfields, but I enjoyed the football. Wilson and Clarke. I enjoyed the time at Birmingham as well. Im just not enjoying this season, at all.

As LiquidGold says above, the whole club is just so dislikable right now. That’s got to be a worry, surely?

Let's be honest, if you aren't starting ahead of BTA, who looks like a competition winner, then you are in trouble aren't you.
Simms just doesn't get involved, looks completely disinterested.
Except against Cardiff

Second half yesterday we looked like Oxford did against us at home earlier this season.

Really poor ball retention and Norwich looked a cut above. Can’t fathom what the score would have been had Collins been in goal!

Or they actually had a striker on the pitch.

We tactically had their number , that's why we had to defend like the south Wales borderers at rourkes drift

It wasn’t the south wales borderers at that point it was B company of 2nd batt 24th Royal Warwickshires of which I have read as little as 11% were actually Welsh but others saying near 20%

And they relocated the recruiting office to brecon in 1881 / 82 not in 1879 when the battle happened, it contained Welsh who had come to the Midlands for work.

Realistically though, concede two goals away from home and you’re going to lose an away game most of the time.

I do agree the quality of the forward line yesterday was an issue as well though.

Personally I don't think we were that bad until later part of 2nd half which by that you could see it coming, eccles again rubbish...Allan with little game time and skill did try but not good enough but more effort from the team with good link up in places but we need new bodies in desperately

First 10 mins we were quite poor, after we scored we looked comfortable until half time.

After half time we got outplayed. Defended well for a little while. Then it was all quite last ditch. Had a couple of chances on the counter and did nothing with them.

Allen was good, but leaving him out on the pitch to crucify himself after hardly playing suggests Lampard didn’t trust Torp to come on and play a disciplined game.

They are a mid table side
Are they not a very good home side and a very poor away side? Which is the reason they are mid table I suppose.

As i said they battered us .

They are not barcelona

Which makes a change from us dominating possession and out scoring teams on 'xg' every other game?

Until 90 minutes, I was more content with that performance than any other for a while. We showed fight and grit.

Both Robins and Lampard have been extremely unlucky in a lot of games this season.

So to be clear you're happy to be battered and last ditch defend all game in the hope we pull it off and win ?

Like Leicester in the prem sort of thing

I would prefer us to do that than to pass the ball around aimlessly like we've done for months.

It was our joint highest xG conceded yesterday yes.

When we played them at home it was our second lowest xG conceded of the season (still lost, of course).
