So wasps are buying the Higgs share for £6 million are they ?

Where is that from Simon or Alan?

Do you thing a children's charity. (Your view if Higgs not mine) should buy into football at all ? Is buying a pub helping a deprived kid?

As you will know if they keep giving money away without making some of it work for them it will run out one day. But investing in something that gives a constant return whilst maybe even gaining in value will keep the charity going. But you will know this as you let us know you know about money. Are you not supposed to do deals for a living?

They have said only 2 weeks ago again that they are going to be building a new stadium.

Are you saying they are going to build the new stadium and then stay at the Ricoh? :thinking about:

So why the bloody hell do they keep saying they are? It's all well and good us fans not believing they are leaving, but then why do they keep going on about leaving and keep saying they are building their own stadium?

If it is indeed a nonsense then they are justlooking like complete and utter fools and consistently so too.

In the last month we have not heard that - in fact we have been told that the club could potentially stay long term. That's hardly the rhetoric of a club looking to get out at the earliest opportunity.

EDIT - I am referring to the comments of Waggott.. the guy that did the deal to return.

Could work well, they could build that new kabbadi centre... or a new home for Bradford Bulls.

So you are saying that we have been home for some time now as Fisher has said it since it was announced that we were back at the Ricoh.

Cov rugby, average attendance of 1,200.

Like to see how they are going to reduce the size of the stadium down to that sort of level.

Maybe Fisher and Waggott should talk to each other then. Fisher just 2 weeks ago said they were pressing ahead with the new stadium. They are beginning to lookeven more increasingly idiotic than they did before.

If that is at all possible.

I had a go at kabaddi whilst on a camel safari in Rajasthan. It's better than rugby.

Just like CCFC have the potential to be in the Premiership.

How many years have we been saying that now?

Clearly if Wasps want to move there, the potential is for Cov Rugby to fill the Ricoh...

Incidentally as an aside (it won't work long term) this lot are the ones who ended up main users of the Darlington Arena...

I'm not saying they do... but given that a lot of the comments he makes don't actually come to fruition.

Most people don't believe a word he says anyway.

Unless of course it's to suit an argument.... then it's gospel.

So you are now saying that we have not heard a comment that was made in the last month because it was made by Fisher, and a Fisher comment doesn't count because we don't believe a word he says? :thinking about:

Like believing you when you said you would never go to Northampton as it was your way of protesting? I have said for months that I would be back when our club is. You said you wouldn't go to Northampton until you did go.

Kabbadi.....I remember when that was on channel 4 on a Sunday morning. Cracking game!

If you read the CT comment as supportive of the move, you are misreading it.

Whether Fishers comments have come to fruition or not so far is missing the point. 2 weeks ago his role was changed by SISU to chairman with a fanfare announcement that his specific task was to concentrate and press ahead with the new stadium. What Fisher has said personally is buy the buy. The fact that SISU, the people who make the decisions, have done this is a statement of intent in itself and it comes from the top.

And now you are seriously suggesting that ACL and any party party who may be interested in a share of the control of ACL shouldn't take it seriously. I think you need a reality check.

SISU through their "promotion" of Fisher to chairman and the reasons that SISU have stated for doing this gives ACL the green light to look at other options and other interested parties the green light to look at ACL.

If they hadn't put Fisher into this role then maybe fans might be thinking a little differently.

The question is more about CCFC's stance, that they are definitely building a new stadium. Not interested in ACL particularly. CCFC have said they are going. Ok. I am against it, but so long as that is the final word, you can't blame ACL. I hope it is a bluff ( like the stadium ). They, CCFC, should stop messing around and put the money on the table. Higgs want out and were originally prepared to do a deal with CCFC. Wasps is just talk now. Buy the Higgs share and Wasps, or whoever else, will have to deal with CCFC as we'll as CCC.

Theoretically "we", but would we stick to the new stadium line and the JR appeal as CCFC are doing? It is one thing to align with the team CCFC, but another to align with the current policy of the owners. I just hope that one day we are all on the same wavelength.

They are hardly in condemnation of the move are they?

I thought the paper was all about forgetting about the past and moving forward? Not finding every opportunity to drag up details from the past to lambast the club.

I would have thought the CET would come out in support of the football club and be widely against the potentially disastrous scenario that could occur. Not make excuses for a management company that would not exist if it was not for CCFC.

Fair response mate. Everyone will have differing opinions on this and I get what you're saying. I'm all about the 'we' though, despite what's going on around us. No biggie.

Hypothetical question.

So lets say Wasps buy the stadium, and turf the club out. The club goes and builds a new stadium because it has no choice. Will people be supportive then of a new stadium?
