Two strong episodes in a row, the rest of the season ought to be ace unless there's some kind of misplaced flashback episode to give the audience a breather.

Was that Daryl's bike at the end?

Yeah, really good. Just one problem for me.

There is absolutely no way whatsoever that Carol and Maggie would have given their names to the Saviours. Other Alexandrians maybe, bit not Maggie and certainly not Carol. They would have just given false names.

That was just a bit ridiculous. Poetic licence I suppose, but it just tainted it a little.

I reckon we're looking at an entire episode of Maggie and Carol and an entire episode of whoever went off in the van at the end before we get to the meaty finale.

Hope not, but that sounds just about spot on.

Pretty sure Norman Reedus' new show has already been filmed, enjoyed last nights episode, I agree with the above post about a showing what happened to them type episode, to lead us into the finale.

What happened to Daryl's crossbow? I know the bloke nicked it along with his bike. Nowhere to be seen last night. Not that I'd want a crossbow in those times. Much prefer a huge machete or sub machine gun! :claping hands:

My guess is one of the Rickettes gets killed with the crossbow and one gets done in with the baseball bat.

I reckon they'll be a few "flashback " episodes then a main character pegging out then the introduction of Neagen

Just 4 episodes left.

As stated earlier, next epiosde probably all about Maggie and Carol and their capture.

Negan won't appear until the final episode.

I think in the penultimate episode there might be some kind of glimpse like a silhouette or his voice. I just hope they don't hold him back until the last few seconds of the finale and then we don't get him properly until S7, they've been building to him for ages now.

They do say he will appear in the finale. That is usually an elongated episode isn't it, or in two parts.

Think you'll have ample opportunity to admire the size and glory of his baseball bat.

Think it'll be a 90 minuter again. I want them to slowly pan up the bat, sun gleaming off its smooth surface.

I enjoyed that. Not sure whether Carol really is affected by what's happened or was playing it for the benefit of the Saviours. Morgan's turned her soft, whereas Fr Gabriel is suddenly a bad mother fucker.

Yep, the Carol thing was a real curve ball.

I was convinced that display was for the benefit of the Saviours only, but it seems like she has indeed turned into a mushy, wishy washy wimpette!

Would have been so much better had her display just been a ruse.

I think she might have been playing it up a little, as it's a bit too sudden a turnaround otherwise.

Yeah, you would think more in terms of a slow burn rather than an instant melt.

I wasn't too sure about Carol all those seasons ago. Kept wanting her to be bitten.
So glad she wasn't as her character has grown and grown into something wonderfully dark and sinister and we wouldn't have had scenes like this...

Well yep, but that is a million miles away from the whiney wimpette we were served up on Monday night.

Very disappointing if it is not a red herring.

Sorry…missed this post. What makes you think she wasn't putting it on?
I thought that even the leader of that other bunch realised Carol had totally fooled her just before she got chomped on.
Did I miss something?
