And you say you aren't Timmy or anything to do with SISU? :thinking about:

Quite strange as everyone else knows we need rid of SISU whatever their version of events are.

Perhaps you'd like to chant "Piss off ACL lovers, SISU are fine owners" at Nuneaton on Saturday.

But let me know which area you are going to stand in, I prefer to avoid trouble.

'Only a deluded idiot would think anyone else would want to buy CCFC'
'Contracts are there to be broken. '

I guess we all say regretful things in the heat of the battle.

Not too often have I suggested others are not real supporters though. Sort of thing you throw out there a lot.

I was using you as a source, so when you wrote this you mean he has tabled a bid but you have not reached an agreement?

"As it stands the Charity has had discussions with Mr Haskell. Those discussions continue and are positive and productive but have not reached a conclusion. I know that sounds like a communique issued after a "world leaders summit" but it is as far as I can go. The operative words are 'continue' and 'positive'.
I don't know where Richard Keys gets his information and I am sure that he hopes that he is being helpful but his information is not correct and at a time like this when everyone is suffering heartache, anger, sorrow and frustration I am not sure that speculation masquerading as fact is helpful to anyone."

No one has any details of any bids tabled -- they could have been speculative bids that would fail approval -- which of course they did.

I maintain that the contract had to be broken for the club to have any hope of survival at all.

That is something that hasn't really been picked up in the 26p in the pound settlement figure that has been published. If SISU were offering 26p in the pound, what was Preston Haskell offering?

Fact of the matter is, one thing that is clear and has come out if this sorry mess. Is that others have tried to buy the club both recently and before and SISU have blocked.

If SISU go under or bugger off there are others.

They are not 'the only show in town'

They failed as: 1)SISU were buying it from themselves and knew what was "in" Ltd, so could bid more than the rest, and 2)The administrator is their bitch.

You know this...everyone knows this. You are just being a pratt, as per usual.

That is likely only part of the story given that Otium would have the ability to write off vast swathes of Ltd's 'debt' whereas Haskell would have to bid cash for the lot. The administration process never gave anybody else a chance unless they wanted to bid £50m+ to pay off SISU.

Not a single post by him about our issues has contained any actual facts. He then has the audacity to pour scorn on others and then cry about people not being capable of debating with him. Maybe people won't debate with him because they know that he'll resort to point scoring and therefore cannot be arsed

Less of course, if he had offered 26p it would have cost him £18million not the £1.5mill Otium paid. which is a ridiculous figure for Limited that may or may not get the share and that doesn't have the players etc.

So first up is Tim from Coventry who wants £30M for his idea for a third stadium in Coventry.

So hi I'm Tim and I'm here to ask for £30M for a 33% share in my idea of a new stadium in Coventry. We're looking at a few sites that would suit our needs and we'll be ready to build as soon as we have the land. We've got a football club just waiting to move in and really all we need is the money. It's going to be modular so we can expand if needed, every one is very excited about this. I'll now answer any questions.

Duncan starts by first asking Tim how he arrived at the valuation of the business.

Tim: Oh well that's easy I asked around and that is the going rate for building a stadium and added it to the value of the company.

Deborah: Hi Tim, I'm Deborah okay leaving aside how you value the business you said you had a club ready to move in, which club is this?

Tim: Coventry City

Deborah: And where do they play at the moment?

Tim: Probably Northampton.

Deborah: Probably?

Tim: Well we're in negotiations to play there, but I'm really positive about it coming off.

Peter: Tim I'm Peter, you say you want to build a stadium but given that the stadium business is affected by neighbouring stadia are there any nearby.

Tim: A couple.

Peter: Did you just say a couple, because if you did that changes things. Are either of them bigger than the one you propose?

Tim: Er yeah one of them.

Theo: Tim is what we'd be investing in a new company or an existing one.

Tim: An existing one.

Theo: And is this doing well, talk me through the numbers

Tim: Well we're currently £69M in debt....

Theo: How much?

Tim: Currently £69M in debt....

Theo: I'm sorry but there is something seriously wrong if you're £69M in debt. Why should I give you £30 let alone £30m of my kids inheritance to build another stadium in Coventry when there's a perfectly good one there?

Peter: How come you don't still play at the previous ground?

Tim: The rent was too high so we boycotted it.

Peter: And then they kicked you out?

Tim: Not exactly.

Peter: They might not have done but I am, I'm Out.

Duncan: Tim are you the only one in charge of this business?

Tim: No there's another investor called Joy.

Duncan: Can we meet Joy?

Tim: Erm well no you see the thing is she doesn't like publicity.

Theo: Are the fans happy with this they're your customers after all?

Tim: Some of them are.

Theo: I'm Out.

Duncan: How many?

Tim: A few weeks did a survey, and a few were happy. We haven't published it yet, so I can't go into specifics.

Duncan: I'm Out.

Deborah: Well I do know a bit about this area of business and Stadia need a local population who are willing to go and can get there, and good transport infrastructure. Do your proposed land purchases have that?

Tim: When you say infrastructure, I can confidently say there is a road going to the sites.

Deborah: Let me just stop you there, I'm Out

Unfortunately this is the problem many fans off the forum will choose to go the first game of the season and many share the views of just here 4 coffee, it's not wrong to have an opinion on the matter. It has to be said both arguements have valid points, in the end what the club needs is either;

a) Complete clean slate - New owners, staying at the Ricoh under CCFC ownership (which means no more CCC/ACL), etc.

b) Same ownership but for someone to mediate a deal that suits both parties for the Ricoh.

c) Regrettably.... Move away from the Ricoh and build a new ground.

Point A & B don't look likely and C has many disapporvals, but based on facts and not if's and but's C is the only choice.

Edit: I should just note that point C sounds absolutely fantastic, but when you haven't purchased land, scaled a model, planning permission and so on I can't say I hold great hope..

The irony James Smith, is that international investors with pockets cumulatively as deep, if not deeper than the aforementioned dragons would be investing in that very plan tabled by Fisher! Are these successful business people stupid? Or are we...?

But then there's us meager midlands folk who think we know everything. We think it's perfectly conceivable, and wholly endorsable that investors shouldn't look to recoup their monies from a business investment. Infact, they should just pump money into our club whilst sustaining losses and expect nothing in return. Particularly in terms of fan-support. And god forbid they make moves to affect change to this very situation....

The funniest thing for me, is that I could inexplicably stomach the above if that was as far as the fickleness went. But the players are largely unsupported too. A poor game, or a poor run of form, and they are being flamed on facebook and twitter. What is the excuse of fans for that lack of support. Will we blame SISU for that also?

Infact, I didn't win the lottery on Saturday, and the woman of my dreams is overtly sexually liberated and making a fool of me. God damn those SISU bastards for that!....

Fact-no one appears to be willing to work with Sisu holdings
Fact-Ricoh available for free while Ccfc in administration
Fact-accounts for Ccfc ltd not submitted, late and embargo in place from league
Fact-no viable business plan published for ground sharing temporarily
Fact-interested parties willing to own Ccfc and play at Ricoh with the goodwill of acl Ccc Higgs
Fact-Higgs community asset is now going to struggle without academy

Only viable option Sisu to move on and take a hit.

Please reaping coffee my man

Can only see disaster with Sisu involved, I need hope - can you give me some??

Can't see how they can I assume people who agree to invest in such funds are aware these are high risk investments.
