From Morgan Williams to Jamie Allen, and the other 114 players in between, you have all played your part in bringing our club back from oblivion to being within a whisker of returning to the big time. And for that I salute you all. Even Brad Collins. 🫡

Also Marc McNulty is such a strange figure at the club. Was sensational in that league 2 season, yet almost never gets mentioned.
McNulty was class, I reckon we would have got straight into the play-offs the first season we were back in League 1 had we have kept him

Some real legends on that list, fond memories of most of them. O'Hare 3rd most appearances, feel he deserves a little more respect from our support a crucial player in getting us up and keeping us up. He made a bad move I'd imagine he regrets leaving, ultimately his loss our gain getting Rudoni and BTA in
Fuck him

Chris Stokes, on paper….one of the most underwhelming signings. Wasn’t even getting a game at Forest Green in national league and we signed him on loan.

Although limited in terms of ability, I thought he was great for us. 100% in every game (at a time when some players didn’t give a fuck) and covered at centre back as well. Scored a few. Great attitude which I’m sure was shining example to the youngsters coming through in that era.

Always a bit weird looking at modern appearance numbers Vs legends.
Dion 145 appearances, less than Josh Eccles.
Noel Whelan 133, Ellis Simms has 125!
Darren Huckerby 94, Liam Kitching has 87

I always think that in terms of appearances they should be ranked in terms of starting appearances first, which I presume would change these figures somewhat. Also, these figures will be skewed by our PL players only being able to play a maximum of 38 league games a season, as opposed to 46 played in the other leagues.

Eccles is almost 26 and is an academy graduate, would be more surprising if he had less than 150.

Don't think there is much to say, he was great but I think we did very well to get £1.2m for him.
It’s weird to have a league top goal scorer in a league (when was the last time we had that before him?), sell him and nobody barely ever mentions him again. Critical to our league 2 promotion.

I think because so short lived. Could've stayed, but went for tge cash and I dont blame him. At that stage in his career it was his 1 opportunity for a big pay day. He was largely ineffective too in the first part of the season, but kicked on massively from December.

Worked out well for all parties, used his money to stay afloat and get Chaplin, then Chaplins money to get Godden.
