Didn't Mark Venus say just recently how he enjoys playing the stock markets with his own money? Surely that makes him more qualified than Fisher at least

My big fear is Fisher taking up the role again. Looking back, on the whole I'm willing to accept that SW did an OK job and crucially was pivotal in getting us back home.

Fishers reappointment in the role could set us back in the downward cycle. He's been a disaster for our club IMO and his reappointment in the role would be the biggest one yet.

How do you know Waggott had anything to do with the Ricoh return?

Wouldn't criticise Tim too much or you might upset your mentors LAST and BHSB - they used have cosy chats over the phone every week with their mate Timmy Fishcake Fisher.

I reckon they are only nasty to him now because as Cliff says "we don't talk anymore"

Talking of Cliff perhaps a night with - what do you think Tony?

No but if SISU were ever to be stupid enough to do it again in the same way they did last time for the same reason's and you'd already witnessed how stupid it was the first time to the point that you were a pivotal player in facilitating a return only to learn that they were willingly going to repeat the same mistake again surely he'd be a complete idiot to be part of it by not resigning?

I don't think that was the reason why myself but I can see the logic.

I wouldn't worry too much - Waggott didn't strike me as a man of any principals whatsoever - and we should hold to account for the garbage he had been responsible for up to now.

He's been an unmitigated disaster.

Perhaps him and Chris Robinson were having a torrid affair, that's why they locked themselves in a room for 24hours. That's another Grendull exclusive everyone. They weren't bashing out the details of a return of CCFC to the Ricoh they were bashing each other off.

Or maybe I'm just right and you're full of shit.

SBT view is pretty similar.. they speculate there will be no progress on extending Ricoh deal till after next JR hearing in February, I end to agree.

Back to the turmoil and instability so beloved by Fisher/Seppalla

That would explain why Grendull has his nickers in a twist over this. His love for Tim is so strong he's using SW as Fishers fall guy.

So Waggott has influence and decisions making powers and can decide what to do without Seppella and Fisher?

Have you ever admited that you're wrong? Ever? It's well documented and Chris Robinson made a point of saying that the change in personnel doing the talking made a difference. It's clear that Sixfields was TF's brainchild, JS doesn't know the first thing about running a football club and the mentality of it's customers and mistakenly trusted TF's plan. SW then had to take the leading role (from the clubs perspective) in facilitating our return. Them are the facts. Why you dispute them is beyond me. The you being in love with TF was meant to be tongue in cheek but now I'm wondering how close to the bone(no pun intended) it might be.

He certainly helped although I doubt he had the commercial clout to be a pivotal player. More of a mediator role.

Surely he just resigned because he wants to move back home with his family? Could it just be as simple as that.

Problem with Sisu is nothing is simple or seems what it is, it never has been, so if moving back to family is the real reason most of us would not believe it.

That's the problem. I just want to believe him as he has got the club to where it thinks it ought to be and now he can move back home and relieve all the stress he must of been under. New challenge and all that. Not always bad news is it?

I'm am not bothered one way or another why he went and it might be true, but i dont think he has been good for the club. And where we are today has more to do with TM and MV, if they get to carry on JS might see that TF is as useful as a plug in a rowing boat and send him on that ship he talked about couple of years ago.. You know the one that sailed, what a prick the sadest part of this is we are left with this idiot at the helm.

Funny how TM has not remarked on this yet!!!

You have a link to the "document" to make such a bold statement.

Post it on here and let me have a look.

No chance, yesterday he is on record as saying he was meeting Wasps to talk, today he has gone. Something radical has happened.

Coventry City chief executive Steve Waggott told the Telegraph he is set to meet with his Wasps counterpart next week when the subject of the football club’s future is likely to be discussed.

I didn't say document I said documented.

Try reading any report from the media at the time. There's a link to SG take on SW in this thread that reference's what was said at the time. Even Clive Eakin has mentioned it today and that has been quoted on the CCFC page on the BBC's web site. But I guess everyone is lying because you're right as always.

So it's correct as it appears in the media? So anything that appears on the media CCFC related from a spokesman is documented so therefore true?

Comedy gold Tony. When did this Robinson chap leave his exalted position and why?

You really are a sad little man. I say man but anyone who has trouble admitting that they're wrong that they even try to discredit what the people who were actually involved said on record at the time is hardly a man at all. You really are a first class prat.
