I'm sure saddle said it several times that the new players didn't like his coaching methods and didn't really get along Viveash, sound to me Adi disagrees with that and he thinks his hard man stereotype fed those rumours

Main thing i took from it was his role at the club was talked about , that he knew his role and the manager had the final say on everything .

I liked how he talked about how he pushed robins to keep improving as a manager .

They were a good team , its a shame it went the way it did

It might be true that some weren't.
I doubt any club has a squad who are 100% receptive to the manager/coaching staff.

I'd imagine those not getting picked would have a few gripes in any set up.

Tbh as much as its nice to feel vindicated for not being in the majority jumping all over King when things were going tits up, it's good for forum point scoring... even I'm a bit bored of it. Good luck to him and Robins, they were great and they served us well. The club has moved on but I wish them all the best.

I don’t doubt that for some reason Robins didn’t like the content of the article but I suspect it was the final straw to an already strained relationship. It was a pretty uncontroversial article after all.

Embarrassing day for all those drama queens who insisted it was a sinister plot to undermine Robins. Also embarrassing for the Cov Tele who couldn’t get an interview with Ade that a fledgling podcast secured.

I just wished Simon had thought of some more interesting questions. Feels like an opportunity missed.

I contacted Adi to set up this interview back in November so it took about six months to get to this stage. I sent him a full list of questions around a month before the interview which included all of the ones you would expect about leaving the club.

He didn't want to talk about any of that entire section and they weren't on the final list at all, so when he did open up a bit about it, the effect on his family and how the press conference made him feel I was pleased. I pushed things as far as I could with the final question on that topic before the ad break which he didn't want to talk about, as is his right. He's super professional as you would expect.

I'm really happy with the way it all came out, and I think there's some lovely stories across part one and part two regarding the play offs, promotions and working with certain players. I certainly didn't want this to create a ton of drama, but I feel he has spoken in a professional way to address things which allows both he and the club to move forward.

He was a brilliant guy to chat with, and was happy to chat for nearly three hours, when we had only scheduled in for one. I wish him all the best and hope he gets back into football soon, as he clearly loves it.
