Well I think Matt SB house move was dependent on it,and that's fair enough if people want that kind of content,as I say club could or should get on board and do something with them.
I wouldn’t. The influx of YouTubers and football influencers has been the downfall of sports media in the last 5/10 years. I’d sooner watch a livestream of Rapha cleaning everyone’s boots

I guess what we will never know is just how their relationship broke down .

Adi seems to suggest everything being said online is a lie .

So really we will never know

Listening to it, has he even mentioned Robins?

Heard the bit where he said he was glad King spoke because he told the truth, said he wasn't even at the club when it kicked off with the press conference but he was glad King spoke the truth about it..

Only called him the manager, not mentioned him by name.
Only called King the owner though obviously not mentioned him too much but referred to Robins as the manager several times.

Seems to me there's still a lot of hurt there.

He's naming the other staff "Dennis etc" but then it's "The Manager".
He clearly feels very let down by Robins both in the way he was forced out and by the way Robins has behaved since. If Adi believes his reputation has been unfairly damaged then Robins could have nipped that in the bud with a short and simple statement, after all he talks to the press every week.

Clearly some bad blood. Stoke fans were hopeful the other week that he may settle differences and join them.

Embarrassing day for all those drama queens who insisted it was a sinister plot to undermine Robins. Also embarrassing for the Cov Tele who couldn’t get an interview with Ade that a fledgling podcast secured.

I just wished Simon had thought of some more interesting questions. Feels like an opportunity missed.

If he was basically sacked for doing a Telegraph interview and he is also backing King over the Telegraph about whether that interview was sanctioned (no idea I’ve not listened) then he’s not likely to go back for an interview tbf.

He didn't mention the interview.
King said the original interview wasn't sanctioned, Turner (I think), said the City press officer was present.

I don’t think Robins has actually said anything at all in public about either Adi going or his own sacking. Adi is quite definite about the stuff on social media being hurtful to him but I’m pretty sure that this stuff came from uninformed people who either like to pretend they are in the know or like to peddle speculation as fact. I don’t think any of it was from Robins himself.

I think it is telling that he only refers to Robins as the manager, although there is certainly no overt criticism of him. In fact he praises the way he tried to help Bright Enobakare overcome his difficulties and realise his potential,

Listening to this really makes me sad that they couldn’t have worked through whatever the problem was (I still can’t believe it was the Telegraph articles which to me were pretty innocuous) and carried on their partnership. Adi says he was ready and able to come in and start the new season on July 1 last year so it does seem that it was Robins who had the problem with him.

Dave Boddy and the manager...

Wasn't the interview mentioned before more because of the falling out with him and Robins?

Robins said he couldn't work with Viveash and it seems the root cause of that was the interview.

Fairly sure King said it was unsanctioned but Turner said that the city press officer was there, not that that makes much difference to whether it pissed Robins off or not.

All seems a bit trivial but maybe the relationship was slowly eroding anyway, happens in all walks of life.

TBF some of the YouTubers do a better job with the highlights than ITV does, it's a mixed bag but some of them are pretty good. I love watching the ones from the away end at the CBS.

Robins had done an interview saying Adi could be difficult to work with sometimes but I don't think Robins meant it in a derogatory way. I think Viveash took some offence to that comment. Would imagine theres more to it than that but remember that being inferred

Also, he said he got stick because of tackling that fan. Said he had his hand under him and was gentle.

Which nonce was giving him stick for that? Should have winded up with a proper power slam.

Nor me, was just when he was saying how people judged him as horrible etc but he was really a quiet bloke.
Yeah I can’t remember anyone giving him stick for it.

Surely everyone saw Adi as someone not to be messed with - we saw in on the touch line with other benches and then that fan. Unless he just doesn’t like the ‘tough guy’ persona?

Also I don’t think Robins has ever said he couldn’t work with him or spoken about why he left - we’ve only heard that from King. And to be fair, I dont feel like I need or have a right to know what went on between them.

let’s face it - this was typical trump-esque marketing to get people to listen to something they normally wouldn’t in the hope of getting a golden nugget - and actually there was fuck all said.
