Villa Tickets (17 Viewers)

There's a fair few pathetic posts on here. Just about every cup draw we have is followed by a chorus of 'shit draw', but here's a draw that had half this forum creaming themselves, but now some of those are now looking for excuses not to go. You couldn't make it up!

I've bought a couple tickets for the Balcony St Bar .I'm due to fly home to Bangkok on 1 st October, not sure if I will be back before the end of the season so thought I'd treat myself and my brother

Just on the safe side take a couple of folding chairs with you just in case they don't have any chairs, like the Hull game.

Some might not make the effort, but lets not avoid the fact that £20 for children is way too much. As fans we should be able call it out particularly when this season its much harder for families and lower-income supporters to attend.

£20 would be a bonus for me as I’m in the premium zone with my lad so £82 for us two, my parents have already said they are not bothering.

Wont be going, £108 for 2 adults 2 kids.
£27 each.
Reasonable compared to most live events.
Got 2 tickets (cheap seats) for a London West End theatre this wkend £42 ea.
Expensive seats were well over £100.

Why you comparing football to the West End?

Completely different entities for a start.

West End shows are once a year for most if you’re into that jazz.

Going Football is a weekly thing for many. The club are distancing themselves further from the working class fan and family.

I guarantee the Villa match will be the most expensive ticket in the competition upto the semi’s and final and it’s only a 3rd round tie.

Fans have invested a lot into the club over the past few months. Merchandise, kit sales, season tickets, memberships etc..

£25 adults all parts of the ground and £10 children would have been perfectly fine. Plus the extra revenue from F&B

Monzo Cashback too still!
5 tickets for £205... at least the £20.50 is like patting me on the back and checking if I'm okay after kicking me full on in the balls!

Although that's probably the cost of one ticket at next years Ashes!

People have legitimately said they won't go as it's expensive which it is especially as it'll likely be two teams of second strings. The club are making a fortune off TV revenue there is absolutely no reason why this shouldn't be max £15 adult and £5 kids

Everton v wolves £15/£5
Palace v Boro £15/£5
City v.norwich £15/£5
Sunderland v hull £15/£5
Ipswich v arsenal £30/£15
Muff v Lincoln £15/£3
Reading v Brentford £15/£9/£5

Can't be arsed to look at the rest

Didn’t it say on the radio yesterday that B’ham basic Ashes cricket tickets are priced at £165. Serve them right if people shunned it !
We go to for a day at the Test every year and have done for over 25 years. Not going to the Ashes next year out of principle. The prices at all venues are a disgrace. We're going to a Bangladesh match instead (£50-£80 tickets).

I can't even be that arsed for it - I would take getting battered 5-0 off their reserves and clap every goal if it theoretically meant we got 4 points from the Brighton and Forest games

I can be arsed for it , i really want to go but currently every penny going towards america in november .. away league games take priority

Fuck that, robbing bastards. Hopefully no one goes and Doug realises we aren't just customers and numbers.
Fuck modern football.

got my tickets, seemingly will be like the sisu days in terms of attendance. might go old school and rock up 5 before ko if there will be no queues

none of those clubs have the hype attached to our first prem season in 25 years

Im a season ticket hoder and its NOT showing Aston Villa tickets apart from sold out Aston Villa Mascot Packages.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

Is there going to be a U turn on pricing and ticket sales taken down?

You have to click on the notification icon thing and it's "reserved".

It caught me out as well.

Just bought our 6 and carparking (£20 thieving fucks), total a nice little £184!!

Iv f****d up and forgot to buy my tickets before the 16:00 window closed yesterday - am I able to buy when the next window opens being a season ticket holder or is it just for those who bought the memberships? Will I have to wait now till general sale on Friday?

We do similar, but not always a test, sometimes a one day. Well also find something different as not paying that for the Hollies for the Ashes, as tbh although we all like cricket, it's more of our annual big lads day out and the cricket somewhat of a sideshow to the beer!
