regardless of what league we're in, i still want villa to lose every week and i wanted them to go down. I wanted them to get hammered yesterday and they did. Still the last midlands team to lift the cup

Plenty are at it on here, especially those who like to wind people up about Wasps as well. This forum is pretty notorious for having posters on par with the Telegraph, they are an easy target.

Are you serious? Half this forum starts frothing at the mouth with the mere mention of the W word!

The point I am making about Villa is they are a rival for football supporters of our own club. You might say the same about Wasps, but I don't see (for now at least) kids suddenly not liking football, and switching to Rugby instead.

There are a lot of people in this area who are football fans, but not necessarily big CCFC fans. These are the people who come out for the big games, and the people who, if we ever get back there, would fund any potential premiership promotion push. The reason they do this is they still see CCFC as the main local football team. Villa are close enough to be classed as a local team, and any success on their part could see them scoop up the future casual fans as their own.

Of all the big clubs Arsenal are the one I dislike the most but celebrated all 4 of their goals like one of ours and Villa's humiliation in front of millions was superb. Rivals or not now who cares it was great to watch.

Having stood at villa park in the 80s & 90s in the away end with the home fans in the upper tier above us their behaviour is indelibly etched into memory..
From cups of piss, gob and coins being hurled down onto us I stand by my post 100%
To the likes of grendull you obviously were in nappies during that era of the sky blues

All I say is there is more to running a football club than chucking a football team on the pitch.

I'm saying we should build ourselves up to Wasps professionalism rather than trying to bring them down to ours.
I'm saying wasps are here to stay so we need to work with them to get the best we can.
If it's nothing then Sisu please tell us, but fans shouldn't assume it is nothing because it makes them feel better.
I'm saying I have found another sport I could get interested in and have enjoyed the experience so far.
I'm saying I can understand why CCC had to take Wasps offer.

I've no intention of reading those both of those threads are from last year one of them 15 months ago, we've all been involved in causing trouble last year, you guys are doing it multiple times a week still. We just need to stop, put it all behind us and move on

I've already acknowledged that it's quite possible that I'm bias (I don't think I am because I see idiots on both sides) but even if I am I want everyone to be treated equally and for all the deliberate shit stirring comments to be clamped down on whoever is saying them. we need to stop with the sides stuff though anyway, it's done, it's time to move on. Both you and sick boy in the last week or so have admitted posting just to wind people up. Anyone doing that needs to stop whether or not it's pro or anti sisu, wasps, ccc whatever.

Any fans revelling in Villa losing yesterday need the heads testing. Villa fans don't even acknowledge our existence, let's try and focus on getting our own house in order so perhaps one day we might actually have a rivalry to talk about. The stupidity of our fans never ceases to amaze me.
