No 2: 'I didn't know Coventry had a football team?'

This one was by a Maths teacher......

Leeds have always been the one club that seems to attract a lot of scum and whose fans I dislike the most.

Remember when the ripped the seats out of the M&B Stand and then started throwing them at City supporters, after we had beaten them 4-0?

I also got picked on once by a gang of Leeds fans when I was just 13.

On tbe train now just left Wembley, Villa were dreadful, I was in the corporate area at the Villa end,, fantastic to witness so many pissed off Villa fans, I have to say the train is pretty quiet too

I had a knife held to my throat in a restaurant in Great Yarmouth by a gang of Leeds fans who had been to the last fixture of the season at Norwich .They had chased me and my friends who were Spurs fans ,after I came out of a late night chippy and shouted Coventry Boys ,for some reason.
i still only hate Sunderland and their moronic fans

As someone has already pointed out, next seasons derby is against Burton Albion, who, to put this in context, had local rivals not long ago called Gresley Rovers

I really hate Villa, mostly because all my school mates were villa fans and I got constant abuse. I was delighted they lost today.

As the game was on here after midnight I recorded it and watched it this AM (oz time). I really enjoyed it and I`m a little surprised that nobody has remarked that Arsenal played some delightful football.

I`ve never understood this anti Villa nonsense. I worked with some of their fans and I know we weren`t on their radar even in our Div one days. They were much more concerned with Birmingham C. and WBA or Wolves than us.

As for fans taking the mick out of others. That`s hardly a hating offence either. Coventry C. have provided plenty of material for that for years now and wouldn`t we all do just the same thing if the shoe was on the other foot?

I've spent many years working and living in Brum, putting up with "good natured" jibes about "cack" Coventry from tossers with superiority complexes as far as football goes.

Villa were poor to the point you wondered how they made it to the final but let's be honest, when Arsenal turn up they are almost untouchable. What makes me laugh is they hail Sherwood as a messiah and he's only been in charge for like 6 games. Optimism ey!
