I think a lot will hinge on if MVE goes for decent money. Otherwise I think you’re right.

Since Lampard has arrived he’s spent £7m+ on 2 players already.

If MVE goes and you get Vik and Hamer sell one that gets your a potential £20m transfer kitty. Some fringe players go like Lati, BTA, Simms etc that gets you another £5-7m maybe.

Imagine 7-8 years ago saying that our manager would spend £7-8m on two players and we'd potentially have a transfer kitty of £20m?!

You'd have been sectioned!

2 million in salary is hardly going to sort out the transfer fee. I doubt Arsenal and Sporting are arguing over 2m.

It is just more journalistic daily bollocks chasing clickbait.

It'll be €2m euro per year over the course of his contract which will probably be agreed as 5 years.

He's clearly posting on behalf his agent.

yes, that is the point

But only fans take notice and get sucked in by such nonsense. The club's involved will be speaking to the agent and player directly. Not relying on media clickbait

Not in England, no. Most have a reported fee (like with KKH) but very rarely directly released by the clubs.

We went through a period of time with SISU when we didn’t even get reported fee. It was just straight blank ‘undisclosed’ only

A lot of clubs are more open about their transfer fees than we are don’t you feel?

It is common practice now for fees to be undisclosed. With some of the bigger clubs it is the media reporting guesstimates.

Honestly surprised though he's not gone to Juve or somewhere else in Europe.

Want him to succeed in the prem but think he may struggle a bit in an arsenal side which do struggle with strikers over recent years.

Load of rubbish that surely.

Arsenal want to buy him for £60 million but Sporting want the full 75. The two million is completely irrelevant in this case.
It depends on what we believe.

£60m is nearly €70m. It's rumoured he is willing to take £2m a year less in wages for 5 years for it to happen. If this is true it adds over another €15m.

Then you have it where he is said to be refusing to play for Sporting again. If true that could help the deal go through.

Could all be shite from his agent though 🤔

I believe very little of it and think most people probably think the same.

He's a cracking player and worth everything, think maybe Arsenal are slightly worried he could be another Nunez and struggle massively.

Most signings are a gamble. A £70m or whatever it ends up as is a bigger gamble than we're used to.
