Many conflicting reports on this move , with the worst foreign reporter stating that NO monies will be coming our way , because of previous payments being made ?
Let’s hope this is crap , as his monies could prove the difference between play offs or promotion ?

It's kind of been backed up by kings comment's earlier on, negligible I think.
Of course It can work both ways but in terms of signings expected it creates both dought for the seller.

We'll likely get between £2.5-4.5m. Might buy us one decent player but it's not like it will change the fortunes of the club.

Sesko is unreal talent from what I've seen.

Love gyok but if I had to choose one to sign for an elite team it would be sesko
He's got better potential yes. But13 goals last year in the bundesliga for a good team, with 2 penalties?

If they want someone more likely to hit the ground running its Viktor all the way.

They've been questioning signing sesko for the last 2 years. cant be that convinced by him

At 21 I think it's fair enough to wait a few years. I think he's sort of player if arsenal don't get him he'll end up at real Madrid or something. So they won't wanna miss out

I think man U is best for gyok in terms of a manger who knows how to get best out of him. But I can understand vik doesn't wanna lose CL chances at his age.

If I was Arteta I wouldnt want to have to wait a few more years, the pitchforks out for him already. He needs a big season next year and a trophy.

I guess Sesko is quite a bit younger so has potential to get a lot better, Vik is probably peaking, or close to, around now.

Both would be great signings, Vik more likely to have an instant impact though you'd think.
Exactly Classic Arsenal, they desperately need a striker that can come in and do it now not in a few years.

I don't get the hype really. He's hardly set the Bundesliga alight and that is a notoriously easy league to score goals in.

Plus Arsenal need a central striker who will hit the ground running and Vik is more likely to do that IMO

The Sesko hype has also left Slovenians a little non-plussed. They rate him and are pleased at his in-demand status but they talk mostly about his potential rather than his actual delivery.

Mind you, I suspect many Swedes didn’t rate Gyökeres until he finally impacted on their national team in our play off season.

Tbh I’m a bit sick of the rumour now. I’m presuming he’s not leaving and I think the club will to too.
It's the middle of June FFS. Two and a half months of the transfer window left.

While I agree as the club I wouldn't be making my transfer plans on the assumption we'll get a windfall from his move and if that happens we might be able to bring in one extra, I think to presume he's not leaving because he hasn't left yet is a bit premature.

Yeah, but it’s not much good to the club to plan for this summer if they have to wait till the end of the window.

I'm sure that the club regards any proceeds from a Vik sale as a bonus. Some on here post as if its a major expectation that should happen sooner rather than later . Doug played hard ball , no reason why Sporting won't do likewise.
Don't hold your breath.
