How would our sell on clause for Vik work if his summer transfer is structured over to pay over several years?

Would we get our share in full upfront or would we get a cut on every installment?

I'm assuming it's just one lump?

One lump sum as long as United make another 200 people redundant and start making players buy their own kit.

Looks like Arsenal and have been negotiating with both and Sesko is their 1st choice. So unless Leipzig demand silly money Gyokeres isn’t going to north London.
He has the upside of age on his side, but his goalscoring record is mediocre at best

Apparently he’s furious Sporting have double crossed him over the selling price

Badly advised if this is the case. Gentleman's agreements mean fuck all when that kind of moneys involved

When he was leaving us, wasnt it reported he was furious as he thought King was asking for too much.

He does have a moody streak in him and definitely has tantrums if it doesn't go his way. So not sure if this is true but would not be shocked if he is now forcing his move. I hope he gets all he wants but more importantly his club get the max they can

Then surely we can put him in the rear view mirror and get on with our summer plans.

Ridiculous

Fucking hell.

Blimey, I can’t stand Manure, but c’mon……

I get it, and it's easy for me to say when I'm not in control of the finances etc....

But it's United. They represent years of having the piss taken out of me as a kid for supporting the city by all the glory supporters at school, they represent the greatest moment we've had since I've been going to the city being ripped away from us dubiously, i want nothing for them but pain and suffering.

And Vik is the guy that got my eldest into football, for that, I will always love him. Seeing him in a United shirt would be painful

It’s a graveyard for players and managers alike, so as good as he is, he won’t turn around their fortunes. The club’s just rotten and further decline seems inevitable.

Bingo. You could almost say, if he signs for them at his age he is highly unlikely to win anything of note in his career.

I think he is just trying to get Arsenal or Chelsea to get their finger out.

I still maintain he’d run riot in the Bundesliga, but only Bayern realistically could afford him. Serie A also, but again who is paying the fee?

Couldn’t give a shit who Vik went to next as long as we get a decent sell on fee for him. Like the bloke and hope he does well but couldnt care where he goes

Personally I would like him to join the right club, develop and win stuff.

Fuck me what comes after ABC......?

I stand by it, right move for him (right move for us)
Unless he moves somewhere offering less money because he pulls Sporting in Limbo only wanting one place then its not better for us and we get less money

The more he moves for the more money we get. Do you think Gyokeres is pondering how much we will make from his transfer? He’s will do whatever he feels is right for him

When they're on about what they hope someone else does from the POV of a football club, I think you're reaching a bit here!

Why would we put someone that let’s face it doesn’t know we exist ahead of the club we support?

Gyokeres will go to the club that suits what he wants. We want him to go for as much as possible to unable our club to move forward.

I couldn’t care less if he goest to United, City or Al Hilal. We want him going to the highest bidder

Well it looks like he will definitely be off this summer then if stories like that are entering the public. Very similar to what happened with us. I don't blame him though as his stock will be at the highest it ever will be and he deserves to prove himself in a top league

Neither could I. But I really hope it works out to the benefit of all parties.

Let's face it if Vick gets his way, we get less.

He signed a contract with Sporting and is now bitching they won't let him go cheap 😂
