And the excuse when he did it to us?

He's a good player, but clearly a bit of a knob

He’s always been a bit of a knob, that’s probably why he came to us in the first place. Didn’t he kick off because he wasn’t getting game time at first here?

Want to see him succeed - it always made me smile as he never acknowledged anyone trying to get the ball to him unless he scored of course - but his strength and speed were welcome to a league full of back fives for us - he ripped Arsenal one in the Champions league so that’s what their fans are looking for - and we get to see him play ! As the focus will be in him as a number 9 - just need to find one for us now

That article was published on the BBC website on 22 July 2025, 18:02 BST, or about 10 mins ago.

Lol course he would have got a move. Zip him up after you’re finished with him.

Arsenal are the only truly top club in for him. And even they weren't completely sold - Sesko was their first choice and they obviously weren't prepared to pay top dollar. I think Vik's tactics have definitely helped this deal along.

He and his agent had Fabrizio bleating every other day that we were being tight not accepting the first offer.

Looks like Isak is available, I wonder if Arsenal will pull the plug on the Vik deal and go for Isak instead?

If they didn’t wanna spend £70m on Vik I doubt they’ll spend 120 on Isak

I'd have loved if Vik went to Newcastle instead, almost like this Arsenal deal was sequenced!

Isak is a proven premier league striker whereas Vik would be a gamble, so they might pay the extra?

yeah you never know. 12 months of scouting to give it up at the last minute for a guy twice the price. You never know

He will probably end up at Liverpool but Arsenal could easily afford him.
