Doesn't a lot of this come down to what has been agreed. Have I imagined that there were reports last summer that he'd agreed not to push for a transfer at that point and in return for staying another year they would let him go this summer.
If there's been some sort of handshake agreement and now Sporting are trying to derail his transfer then I can understand him being very pissed off. That's a very different situation to just deciding out of the blue that he wants to go and then essentially going on strike when Sporting don't step aside and let it happen.
Also hard to have too much sympathy with Sporting when they essentially did the same to us. Seemed that Vik and his agent were only interested in going to one club and we could easily have done what Sporting are doing now.
