Same - I’m a big fanboy of his for two main reasons: 1. IMO Best player I’ve seen play for us at least since Robbie Keane. 2. I have Swedish family so a bit of a sentimental reason to still want him to do well.I think the attachment to him comes from him being 90% of the our fan base's "best ever player" (or potentially that), to have played for the club and moved on. The most expensive former player. The best goalscorer on the european stage. Potentially and it's interesting to people.
I want him to go on and win every thing he can, personally. Cov will always be mentioned when speaking about his career and that keeps us in the news. And that's why I'm interested in where he goes next. I doubt many are emotional about it, that's hyberbole. It's interesting because we are a massive part of his journey and he deserves a shot at proving just how good he is.
And don't mistake his agents actions for his.
Tbf a lot of ex players/Pundits are very ill informed about any players outside the premSame - I’m a big fanboy of his for two main reasons: 1. IMO Best player I’ve seen play for us at least since Robbie Keane. 2. I have Swedish family so a bit of a sentimental reason to still want him to do well.
don’t like the agent stuff at all.
have to say I think Rio Ferdinand’s comments in the BBC article are ridiculous - it’s like he’s never seen him play. And once again overstating how good some premier league players are…. Some strikers are shite and still manage to score, it’s not like he’d be playing against world class defenders every week.

I've seen Collins out of the box and it's scary.Maybe we should sign a goalkeeper to replace Collins, how’s that for out-of-the-box thinking
It’s bizarre how many are so emotionally invested in him still.
You don’t have favourite ex-players?It’s bizarre how many are so emotionally invested in him still.
No, not really.You don’t have favourite ex-players?
That’s interesting. Fair enough. I thought everyone did.No, not really.
Oh come on yes you doNo, not really.
Yeah course he is, it’s exactly the same situation as Doug had when we set the price higher than the agent wantedSporting president is doing the right thing for his club. Get as much money as he can.
And to be fair I think he genuinely enjoyed his time here and looked very emotional about leaving in his goodbye video.I think the attachment to him comes from him being 90% of the our fan base's "best ever player" (or potentially that), to have played for the club and moved on. The money we paid for Grimes had to have come from somewhere given there were no sales. It’s possibleIve read 2 separate sources today saying we'll get zero sell on fee if and when Vik moves. I thought we waived away 5% leaving us with 10%, but 2 separate sources today (one being talksport) have said we waived the entire 15% for a fee of around £800k? Is that just lazy journalism? Or really, really, bad business from Doug? Surely we still have 10%? Anyone in the know on this? Saddlebrains?
Coventry will not earn money from Gyokeres transfer despite agreeing sell-on
Coventry will not earn a penny from any Viktor Gyokeres sale this summer, despite previously agreeing a sell-on clause in his contract. The Sporting star has been heavily tipped for a big-money mov…talksport.com

According to Record, a Portugese media company, Arsenal have made a bid of 55m euros + 10m euros
Tbf, being emotionally invested in a football club at all is pretty bizarre. It’s bizarre how many are so emotionally invested in him still.

I seen a tweet this morning about that, I seen Arsenal have put a bid in, think Sesko might have either turned them down or is waiting for other big clubs to come inMan U are not in the running anymore
Not sure Juve can afford the wages, they are trying to get rid of Vlhaovic because his wages are too high, is on 12 million euros a yearArsenal will only go for him if sesko ain't happening I think.
I think he'll end up at a man utd or juve rather than a team currently at very top of game. Who knows though
Man U are not in the running anymore
Yeah. I expect he'll be moved on. Fenarbache interested. Wether they can pay his wages or not is also a question mark mind youNot sure Juve can afford the wages, they are trying to get rid of Vlhaovic because his wages are too high, is on 12 million euros a year
