I don’t live in Cov.
In ‘87 I had to drive to HR to queue for tickets. Now I get them online. It’s called progress.
and dare I say fairer

That's because if you buy them on the gate it doesn't go into your account against your name.

Surely you just go to the ticket office at the ground and do it that way if it matters so you give them your details?

Or buy online and print at home/work/friends/relatives....

I also don't get, when this is such a bit game with priority for potential Wembley tickets why people who want wmebley tickets would leave it until the last minute to decide whether they want to walk up and watch the game or not.

Buying home tickets on line is reasonably easy. Buying tickets for away matches that are going to sell out is a lottery on line or on the phone. I was unable to get tickets in the away section at Exeter. On line and on the phone at 9am but by then they seemed to have sold out. We bought tickets in the home end and saw the game. Same thing for Cheltenham.I was on line and on the phone at the right time but was unable to get them. I went to the Butts and bought them over the counter before they sold out. If the Notts away tickets has been sold over the counter I would have queued for them at the ticket office rather than risk the telephone/ internet lottery again. This time my son got tickets over the phone. Because the tickets are sold on a week day starting at 9am, it is really inconvenient to those who are working at that time and who do not have access to a computer or a phone. For the Exeter tickets above I went in late but wouldn’t be able to do that regularly.
I think there is still a place for selling tickets in person. I can use the internet but there are so many glitches and hold ups and potential pit falls (read the threads on here) that I much prefer to physically have them in my hand over the counter. Surely it is the role of the business to try and cater for their customers requirements and wishes rather than simply saying that this is the way things are, get on with it. I think that ticket sales will have been lost this week because some, like myself, prefer, or can only, buy over the counter. Presumably the ticket office has been open all week. I would think that the lady behind the counter has hardly been overwhelmed selling to disabled supporters (ironically, the very group who would probably benefit most from being able to buy electronically).

Had to log in just for this comment.
Not just the semi final, the whole 87 was a shambles for tickets to the final, never missed a match for a couple of years ( home and away) and didn't get a ticket until the day before for the Spurs end and people moan now? Jeez we might not even get to Wembley (hope we do) and already they moan like they might be hard done by (smack in face emicon)

Also people who say should of and could of instead of should have and could have shouldn't get tickets either.

Or people who had attended 4 games and had ticket stubs to prove it that is how we got ours, also it was only about 25,000 allocation for the FA Cup so harder to get.

We have more income streams then others in this league!
Pretty poor arguement when others can do it.
CRFC tbf to them run there club better on a fraction of what the City have doesn't hurt to have that personal touch with your customers.

I got let down and have no one to go with. A proper club would offer fake friends online to avoid this situation.

Sisu out.

It’s still fucking weird.

(Was only a joke about heightened expectations for the club - I might walk up. My anxiety might get the better of me let’s see)

I you attend this match you should get Wembley priority end of story .
The reason this is happening is because should the club get to Wembley , there will be zero option again for supporters to buy in person .

It’s wrong and it’s not even defendable .
Blues and villa fans at work think it’s bizarre

if we get to wembley do you want me to get you a programme?

Nah, there's nothing wrong with just going up to the game on your own then going home. I have done it a few times and it's usually the best way to actually watch the game as in the football and pay attention.

Loads of people go up on their own.

Doesn't matter where you live, I was brought up in Hillfields and have lived in Stivichall, Earlsdon, Finham, Radford, Wyken, Stoke, Walsgrave and Nottingham for a bit. I was an absolute double hard bastard in all those places and dominated anyone that said anything I deemed a slight on my character.

Wheatsheaf tonight.

I'm known as 'The Plumber' as I'm forever fixing up drips.
