I would guess that his mate at Lincoln had a word and persuaded him to go there. If he went to the staff at Forest and said he didn't want to come to Coventry he wanted to go to Lincoln would they force him to come here even if there was an agreement in place?Apologies if this has already been said, but does this just sound like Forest changed their mind?
I think Robins is saying that to try and drive prices down on his other targets. He’s clearly indicating he’s got no funds when that isn’t the case and he’s not the sort to comment on players going to other teams.
