Coventry's association with colours are:
Red and green - city colours (earl and bishops control)
Blue - Coventry Blue from the weaving trade
Black and white - two-tone music.
Even if you're going with traditional kits this and last seasons away kits or all black would have more history. Might as well say purple and yellow or red and white.
In fact, chocolate brown is probably the fourth colours as it's pretty much what a lot of fans remember.
Btw my predictions for follow up kits.
Next years away with be half and half like the last two years in red and green (1922-24)
Next two tone kit will be quartered (1907-09)
