To be fair, I got bored of reading after the first page and skipped to the end so may have missed some of that.
People can say what they like on Twitter. It shouldn't be policed. Players are probably best served ignoring it rather than reacting. Hope he uses it as fuel, and like any true supporter I imagine the guy who posted it would love nothing more than to be proved wrong.
FWIW, looks like he's starting a podcast with the blind lad that goes to games (Jamie?). Wouldn't surprise me if he's said something deliberately controversial to generate a bit of traffic to the podcast.

Again, he is outspoken and says whatever he wants. I'm not defending what he said I'm saying anyone calling him a c**t behind a faceless account, abusing him personally and making up stories about him to add some sort of validity to their point is no better.

Yeh i saw that hugill tweetTwitter is a miserable place with some Coventry fans. So many are moaning like the world has ended. People complaining that we are stuck with L2 strikers in Max and 20 goals and Norwich have signed Hugill. I mean come on folks, the transfer window hasn’t even shut yet and at the same time we won’t be spending £5m on a striker.
I’m all for a bit of banter, and no doubt this is epic shithousery of the highest order In my opinion.
However as a professional club which promotes “be kind” etc I can’t help but think this is a serious error of judgement.
It appears the twitter poster has taken it in good humour, however with the no doubt influx of new messages/abuse this will create , it’s not the most sensible move by the club.
Imagine if the poster took it badly, and something awful happened....the club would be vicariously liable and in deep sh*t ....all for a few likes and retweets.

Club played it brilliantly. Fans should be able to take it if they’re giving it out. And the guy did just score a screamer days after the comment.
