Tbh, the attention his original post created gave the club an opportunity to tweet David when jodi scored and direct hate towards him... Fact is David is being proved correct in some of what he wrote, however harsh that is... This proves that emotion shouldn't take over reality. Maybe fans will just allow people to freely express their opinions in future however incorrect you feel they may be

It's not that is it... The lad on twitter stated he thought Jones was finished at this level and never recovered from his first ACL... If the club and the fans will give the "gotcha" line when a player scores in a friendly and generate a mass of hate in the process because of an opinion... Then he's going to feel like coming on here and saying "gotcha" back...

I never commented on his original tweet because even though I thought it was poorly worded I agree, he entitled to his opinion.

But they are, I don’t get your point at all. My problem was with the use of words, “rotting away” etc. It takes a properly flawed character to do what he’s doing off the back of it. Am I allowed to say thats how I feel under your rules, or does “free speech” only count one way.
