It is def getting to squeaky bum time now....whilst Phillip Schofield may be looking forward to this, it’s going to be intense for the rest of us.

Think they will be just as worried about playing us as us fans seem to be worried about playing them, bet the players can't wait to play them and stamp their mark on the league? Even though they already have, it's us fans who I think are finding it hard to believe what is actually happening here, after years of being let down when it really matters.

Two ways and two approaches
Somebody put two charts up last week , might have been Ferguson's beard
Important we score first as their comeback record is extremely low,0.2 ppg.
Ours on the other hand is around 1.9ppg should they lead .
Anecdotal but I don't think we've lost many when we score first.
Early goal please!!

Season defying game this. Win and I honestly think we go on to win the league. (Yep I cant believe I’m saying that)
If we win I think you will then say that the home game v Rotherham will be the season defining game and we will go on to win the league - then if we win that game you will say that the home game against Wycombe will be the defining game and if we win that we will win the league so on and so forth (Ipswich at home - Sunderland at home etc etc etc)
Still a long way to go regardless of the result Tuesday night!!

Not entirely sure how you’ve come to that conclusion from my post to be honest. Tuesday will give us an indication as to where we want to be, Pompey are in decent form and so are we. Win and it shows we mean business.

Thanks for your input though...

I think Gary means they are all big games. Even if we get turned over by Pompey, provided we then beat Southend and Rochdale, we would still be in with a great chance of autos. I would take a point now on Tuesday if you offered it me.

Nice stats but styles make fights & the style of play we play will brush aside every team in this division, play how we can we win

Really hope we get a bigger following on Tuesday night. C’mon skyblue army let’s make it an atmosphere and a night to remember.

£15 a ticket is a cracking price for a top of tut table clash.

Early goal from 20 goals will send us on our way!
People turned out for a meaningless cup game.... this is the game we need people to turn out.
