At companies house Tim Fisher is listed as a person of "significant interest" in the companies operating CCFC. Therefore, as you've stated - he does have control over the legal process. Grendal thinks he has no control....if that's the case then the submission to companies house is false and that is against the law!

Course he is part of the decision but ultimately is told what to do by higher up the chain. He’s badly advised if he thinks it helps the situation and if he knows it’s not going to help what’s he playing at!!!

He's a Director and he has statutory responsibilities, along with legal control over the business. Keep up with the law!

Suspect this is correct. They seem to have some misguided notion that if Otium folds the club will be handed over to them when in reality it will cease to exist. There's even a note in the minutes of a recent Trust board meeting for them to get an update off Hoffman!

Spot on! If Otium folds, then the assets [none] are distributed to creditors & there is nothing for a Supporters Trust.

Agree - there is a question that as a Director of the company ....is he acting in the "best interests" of that company?

Sisu also have significant control... That's the thing, they pick and choose directors

He can walk, the legals still stay. They don't vanish with him.

The trust are calling for him to resign to deflect that they didn't want to stand with other city fans.

I'd say you can make the argument he is... however much we may not like that argument.

IMHO .... hate that WASPs have been virtually gifted "our" stadium, but they are here to stay and will re-finance or use the new RFU bounty whichever way makes them a viable club.

CCC aren't going anywhere obviously and have a say in the stadium, and between the them and WASPs will have done enough to ensure they aren't going to lose any court cases.

SISU won't be here for ever, at SOME point (could be next year, could be many years into the future) they will be off.

IF we still have a club to support by then, the only logical place to pay is the Ricoh and whoever owns us will at some point have to kiss and make up, do a rent deal, or go into a partnership. The Trust realise this and will want a ticket to that party. Thats why they won't fall out with the people who currently some long term say in the Ricoh.

Not convinced by that tbh.

Personally I also remain convinced CCFC needs its own stadium, so as not to get swallowed up and lose its identity. As it stands, that's an irrelevant argument to have because SISU have no intention of building one. Therefore, Ricoh (or the Butts) are only options in short to medium term. Therefore, antagonism has to be put aside to get a deal for short to medium term. Once we get sane owners, they can sort out the ground.

The one question that needs to be asked to the council is is there sufficient land anywhere within the city boundary where a suitable stadium could be built.

Least time it was asked the councillor suggested somewhere he knew well couldn't ever have a stadium. It was already having houses built

I'm thinking more after sisu for that!!

He's there purely to spin and mislead, fisher part 2. Him and his mate from the council.

He even lied about why he doesn't go to city home games.

Yeah it's irrelevant until we get competent owners with the interests of the club and its community at heart.

There are always options, always. It's whether somebody has the capability to utilise them or not.

I went to Shrewsbury and their ground stands in a spot which is being developed even now with new housing estates. Of course access and parking becomes an issue but as an example there’s lots of land next to the Higgs which is as we speak is being redeveloped and there is industrial land not a stones throw from the Ricoh, as for who builds it at the moment Bob.

Grow up. Do you seriously think when Owen Oysten was removed from the Board at Blackpool he still wasn’t controlling everything that was decided.

The blokes an idiot. Unfortunately the prominence the Trust give him means people listen to him and his cohort and rubbish like this starts getting thrown around as fact.

This sort of thing is the reason it was suggested the trust do some myth busting but that doesn't seem to fit with them agenda.

A bit harsh that! Maybe he is just a concerned fan (same as you and I) looking at things with a different viewpoint?

Deny, distract all you like but it was happening and the Trust were the instigators.

Coventry City fan group the Sky Blues Trust has urged Bristol City fans not to travel to Northampton for the Coventry's first home game at Sixfields. The group said:

We fully sympathise with the situation being faced by fellow fans from across the M6.

We add our voice to the call for sanity to prevail, for an agreement to be reached and for the Sky Blues to kick off at the Ricoh Arena for the sake of their loyal supporters.

It is. That's my point that doesn't seem to sink in.

Have a read of your last meeting minutes, or just keep pretending.

You don't want to accept it or listen

Any thoughts on this view of that season ticket holders are nobs?

Like I said, while the trust want to be United with fans they can't be involving people like this.

Exactly the nonsense I refer to when saying others let CJ and moz etc down

The power of final decisions may well lay with Sisu and Seppala in particular. But to think fisher has no influence in all this is I feel wrong. His role ever since he has been here has been to influence the perception of what is going on. He has been divisive, elusive, economic with the truth, provided carefully selected facts to suit a time or situation, clearly tried to control opinion. Why would anyone believe his role has changed? No he doesn't make the final decision but he very much sets the scene and protects his pay masters. He works with Sisu doesn't make decisions independent of them, is complicit.

Focussing on him however is not going to move things along. Remove him and someone else takes over to do the same. However it means more time lost when what we need is wasps and someone with the necessary authority from Sisu in the same room discussing a deal for next season as a minimum.

There are only two sides that really matter in this ..... everything else is just a diversion. Pressure must be applied to both those sides and no free rides by accepting either current position.
