I'm not saying Reform are responsible for living costs.

But they are supporting something that is increasing people's bills - Labour should use that as an attack line (but won't because they are rubbish at that kind of thing)

He will never ever admit he`s wrong and to de escalate would be to admit he`s got it wrong.

He needs to find an escape route from somewhere, were he can pin the blame on someone else.

I think that's kind of what he was doing saying that the US had no idea the strike was going to happen. He's basically trying to throw Netanyahu under the bus to save himself. Can't see that going down well in the Knesset. But that's what happens when you have two inherently untrustworthy people allying together.

Because it's very hard to do then when there aren't (m)any reasons to vote for them. Their entire election strategy was 'we're not the Tories' because that was enough.

Right, but when you're in government it's a much easier electoral argument when you have some achievements to point to and people generally feel like the government is working for them. At the moment it feels like they have achieved nothing except alienating nearly every corner of the electorate, and the government is working for nobody.
