I wasn't more upset about the church protest/storming/prayer service. I had to mention it a million times because none of you lunatics could move away from your political tribalism to be sensible about it. You still can't, which is why most normal people stay away from this thread, and the majority of views on here don't reflect most people outside in the real world.

How would they know that? Especially if he had already been waving a firearms around previously.

No one really knows at this point anyway, but this is America. If you want to fuck around with weapons around law enforcement it is probably going to end badly, unfortunately.

I didn't mention him having a gun because, again, nothing justifies the use of force captured on the video.

They would know that because one of the ICE goons takes it off him (it's not clear whether the victim was holding it or if it was holstered).

The man is then shot 8 or 9 times, most of them when he is motionless on the ground.

So if you are saying it isn't clear in a video you've watched probably 100 times, how would they know when they've got a split second? How would they know he didn't have a second firearm?

The answer is you wouldn't. It's a classic shoot to kill. They do it there all the time for these sort of situations. It is fucking horrible.

It's not clear whether the gun is in his hand or a holster from the video - it would be clear to them.

It is clear from the video the gun is taken off him.

And 30-40% of the population has a gun, so you're saying anyone carrying is fair game to be executed by ICE.

Surely whether or not this shooting is found to be murder, the more pressing issue at hand is that this ICE operation has been shown to be a complete catastrophe that has only served to make Minneapolis less safe and more disordered, and serves as a crushing blow to those who would advocate for even something vaguely similar to happen here in the UK?

Yes, your last paragraph (it does generally vary by state) qualifies the point. Yhe ownership in MN is about 43%, how many have multiple firearms? Removing one gun doesn't remove the risk necessarily.

I have said before on this thread that I really don't like the trigger happy culture over there, but if you mess around with guns and law enforcement you are playing an extremely dangerous game.

Yeah, I think you are probably right. With all the incidents now though, everything they are doing is being watched under a microscope. For the sake of everyone's safety they need to wear bodycams. It has been quite successful for the police forces.

Well new footage has appeared and the man is not brandishing a gun. He has a phone in his hands.

The goons ask him to stop filming, he refuses, a scuffle breaks out and then the man is pinned down by 3 or 4 of them.

He's then shot multiple times. It's murder.

Also how could the new direction effect anything since it's been in place less than one year, most people already have MMR jabs, they start that program around 1 year old and the MMR recommendation is still in place for one shot at 12-15 months and a second at 4 to 6 years, identical to what it was before RFK Jr became head of HHS.

Are far as I know it's legal to carry an unconcealed weapon in Minnesota (with a permit, but are people going to be waving that around as well?)

And there is absolutely NO justification to fire that many shots at someone. It's an execution, simple as, emboldened by Trump and his cronies defence of the previous incident with Good. They feel totally untouchable and above the law and this kind of thing is only going to occur more often and more blatantly as Trump etc. defend them.

And arguably that's what he wants as it gives him the excuse to suspend civil liberties and rights and impose federal (i.e. his) rule on places that don't agree with him. It won't be long before we start hearing noises about the need to suspend midterms (especially in blue areas) because of unrest caused by his vigilante thug gangs (which I think I'm going to start calling Orangeshirts).

Ask yourself this - if our own law enforcement or government agents starting walking around with facemasks on and refusing to wear ID or bodycams, would you think "well there's some upstanding people who are trying to improve our community"?
