And the word stupid comes to mind as well.

It was slightly amusing watching you try to ape Grendel by being a contrarian WUM for a while but now it's just sad and boring because you don't have anywhere close to the brains to pull it off.
I just speak the truth, seeing you and the skybluetalk bubble speak absolute shite everyday is hilarious

No, you regurgitate whatever the populists spout out because that's what they want you to do. They offer bogeymen and easy answers to those without the brain power to take even the slightest critical mind to what they say and see it's nonsense because that's what those people want to hear.

Pretty much everything Trump says is untrue and can be proved so easily. He's spent his entire life lying and cheating people and the records prove it. But people like you defend him rather than call him out on his bullshit. And he's not the only one. If you want a reason for why the world's in such a bad state, I'd suggest you start there.

This might come as a shock to some but London has always been a crime ridden shit hole, same as any large urbanisation. It’s not restricted to London or indeed this country. More people equals more crime shocker.

What is interesting is when you compare it to the rest of the UK especially England, although climbing London is bucking the trend in that its crime rates are rising at about half of the national average. It’s almost as if there’s a link to poverty and inequality to climbing crime rates.

London is one of the most overrated cities I've ever been to. I say that as someone proud to be British.

A bit like the Sharia Court thing, people are making jokes and think it's funny, but I'm not sure how anyone can stand there and honestly claim the way it has gone isn't in the slightest bit concerning. It feels like more of a deflection to me.

The place has become extremely dangerous, and the majority of people that live there feel the same way. Homicide, rape, and assualt with injury are all up. I certainly wouldn't want to raise a family there.

Are they up? Wasn't a graph shared earlier that shows they are at the same level they were 25 years ago

Are you there much? I work in London and know a lot of people who live there and never hear anything like what I do from people in this thread I’ve got to be honest. When I’ve been it’s always seemed cleaner and friendlier by miles than it was when I was visiting growing up.

From a report conducted by University College London. The most concerning figure here really is the rape one. Then again, when you import many people from cultures where this sort of practice is considered more acceptable, what do you expect?

I have two very good friends that live there, and as I also travel a lot I end up transiting through quite often. I'm on alert the entire time.

Walking around Amsterdam and Prague for me (outside of the crowded tourist areas) feels like utopia in comparison.

I was in Amsterdam today, it’s an incredibly safe city (also safer than it felt when I first went twenty years ago) of course it helps that half the population are baked. Though personally I think like a lot of European cities once you get outside the main bit it’s a bit shabby. Rotterdam too. But I think overall the NL is a much nicer public realm and higher trust society than the UK. Not been to Prague.

Personally I prefer London to Amsterdam for visiting and if I had to choose a global city to live in it’s probably a close second to NY. I rarely don’t feel safe in central London and as I say I’ve met people living there across age and class boundaries and not heard a bad word about it tbh.

I've just found the study. Homicide is down 48% compared to 2001.

And I think the point they raise about Rape being up so drastically is partially due to it being more widely reported nowadays than it was before.
