Ironically this gaffe occurred at a presser aimed at defending accusations his cognitive abilities were in decline.

The USA likes it's senile politicians and it will pay for it eventually and I'm not going to defend any politician they're all liars.

There is a lot of hot air here.

The one thing The Donald has achieved is that when the mask slips the US are a super power and really cares not a jot about the pitiful western alliance. It never has. Trump is just really like all other US presidents regarding foreign policy without the pretence.

Given he’s a senile old man he’s got Europe jumping to everything he says.

Double your spend in NATO - yes Mr President

There has never been a special relationship - The US have always been the western super power and we do as they say - if we want to be sucking up to the US

It's pretty cold tbf. Need the heating on. Not sold on your idea that leaders are dutifully scrambling to deal with some super smart chess moves. I reckon folks would rather be handling their domestic agendas, but are sucking it up, rolling their eyes and telling him No once he's finished rambling for hours.

I get that you'd prefer our superpower of choice to be Russia, maybe it'll happen soon. After all you're a might makes right guy and for a long time the US have been the mightiest in the world so it made sense.

How about we cosy up to China instead?

And do you remember how the right reacted to it?

They said Biden was not fit for the Presidency and should be removed from office. I assume you therefore believe the same should happen to Trump?

It should be shut down because it's functioning more as a pro Trump militia than a law enforcement body. These are people who break the law themselves and have gone way past the line of what is acceptable.

It needs to be scrapped and people prepared to obey the law put in its place. Problem is, Trump and his cabinet themselves are a criminal gang.

Right now they're targeting people based on skin colour and ethnicity. How long before it's on political opponents?

I’d love him to take over here, at least we would have some common sense and normality back. You wouldn’t have transvestites reading books to kids in schools and illegal immigrants flooding in he would just sink the boats.

Watching any interview with Trump now is like an advert for senile dementia.

I get why conservatives think the guy is great, or at least the idea of him, but in reality he only gives a shit about himself and his cronies getting richer. It’s all manipulation of the markets. He's a celebrity businessman who knows that America First means Trump First and getting his.

Cleetus and Dixie in Bumfuck, OK might see something of Trump in themselves, a look at oh what might have been if only they were born nepo narcissists instead of trailer trash. That's absurd in itself. For British conservatives living in a semi detached even more so.

His shtick only works with the threat of US power behind him, otherwise everyone is just going to tell him to fuck off. So instead they have to constantly massage his fragile ego to keep him on side. Some nice words here, a trophy there, you can work positive reinforcement until his toddler brain switches and then he fixates on something else he can use to his gain.

Looks like Canada are already out of his Board of Peace for not sucking up to dear leader enough.

Trump 'wrong' to claim Nato troops avoided Afghanistan front line, Downing Street says

The US president says Nato troops stayed "a little off the front lines" - despite 457 UK military deaths in the conflict.
www.bbc.co.uk

Draft-dodger-in-chief Trump demonstrating his firm grasp of history once again, shitting all over the sacrifices made by US allies in their unwinnable desert war. At one point in Helmand the rate of UK losses was on a par with the Second World War (scaled for number of troops deployed). I think the Canadians may have actually had the highest casualty rate per capita. He's doing a cracking job of dismantling NATO for his pal in Moscow.

The observer Lol. She was blocking on convoy of Agents with her car. These agents were trying to round up people who are in the USA illegally causing crime.

They asked her to get out the car and she drove towards an agent.

maybe next time people will let them get on with their job of cleaning the country up.

I’m assuming you’re just on the wind up, but if your wife/mum/sister was shot in the face for refusing to get out of the car would you be like ‘oh well serves her right’?
