People are just hearing and seeing what they think or believe all the time now, so can’t seem to empathise with other peoples views at all. Throw in the numerous divisions intentionally being sown by both sides over the past 10 years or so, whether that’s race, gender, class etc etc and a total lack of critical thinking (people just accept what they’re seeing/being told) and it’s no surprise we’re becoming more and more polarised
I’m not immune to this by the way and anyone who thinks they are is deluded.

Yet on a daily basis I have stuff coming up on my feed that can't be considered anything other than far right. Any post I click on I have to scroll through numerous inflammatory comments from blue tick accounts before I get to anything useful.
We all know people are absorbing this stuff and reciting it as fact, we see it on here on a daily basis. Something has been posted on social media and therefore must be true. Yet it often takes only a matter of seconds on google to find something is completely false.
Let's hope it goes off without any bother.Haven't we got that march in London this weekend too, if anything were to happen during that, I can imagine things would escalate here too.

I mean, this is a public speaker, not even a politician. Where does it end? The news is absolutely tragic that he has passed away. I've listened to a few of his debates and been really impressed. It seems that they couldn't win against him, so they shot him.
On a side note, the gunshot sounded very heavy. I wondered if it was a longer range rifle. The fact they haven't caught the person could suggest it was someone a bit further away, but who knows. I expect they'll be a huge man hunt now.

I don't see any evidence from this year that suggests it's even close. I have noticed an uptick in public disorder in Democratic parts of the country who don't want Trump's fascist interference in their states/towns/cities. When masked goons are going around these areas just randomly grabbing people off the street, people understandably won't tolerate it.Does that mean it’s not on the up with liberals?

My gf told me the video was bad and made the mistake of asking for the link. The guy is just sitting there, talking then ‘pop’ and now he’s dead.I keep well clear of all that sort of stuff.
