Now assaulting Democratic senators for the crime of asking questions. Still not fascist though.

Feels like Israel, Russia and Ukraine all seem to be totally ignoring the Trump administration at this point. Whether Trump himself has just lost a few steps, or is just totally disengaged, his claims to be able to resolve these conflicts are in tatters right now.

It's amazing how he even made it past 3rd grade.

Can someone please kindly explain to him that Germany and Japan are democracies.

God help us if he doesn't know the difference between a dictatorship and a democracy

Do keep up. I think this will go to the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile LA is under curfew and the regular police are arresting people but the war of words between Democrats and Republicans rumbles on.

LA protests: Curfew imposed for second night after days of protests

LA Mayor Karen Bass has accused federal authorities of "provoking" residents and spreading "chaos" with immigration raids.

You said federal judges had ruled otherwise. Now one has ruled ‘wise’. The governor has to consent.

The Trump regime often breaks the law first then asks questions later. The Supreme Court as you well know has ruled that Trump is above the law, so he’ll get away with it like the dictator he is.

It's a pause by a panel of 3 judges, 2 appointed by trump. they haven't ruled on anything skippy

It's likely to go back to Newsom on Tuesday

You did answer the question of what constitutional rights etc the state of California was denying?

I already said it's likely to go to the Supreme Court (I'll qualify that by saying it will if civil disorder continues).

However there are apparantly lots of protests organised in many states, Texas I understand has already deployed some National Guard, couldn't tell you what other states are doing but I suspect New York will be a bit unsettled.

The regime has confirmed that ICE goons are to be deployed to major Democratic cities to try and snatch more foreigners. Can’t possibly wonder why.

Kamala Harris as the next governor of California would be utterly disastrous

The article really exposes California's deep rooted problems. They had it all in the 60's how did it come to this.

California could easily cede from the US economically and be a player on the world economy. The US would suffer massively if it did.

Arent they something like the fifth biggest economy on the planet if counted as a country and pretty much subsidise all the red states with their tax income?

California is a massive success, you’d have to be truly deranged to think otherwise.

As with all places there is massive inequality.

Victorian London was the richest place on Earth but also the biggest deprivation.

Troops in LA, tanks in DC. But Trump is winning the battle for public opinion

Polling shows significant support for president’s deployment of servicemen in California as military parade set to take place
www.telegraph.co.uk

James Johnson, co-founder of JL Partners, which conducted the polling, said it showed the president was “very much winning the battle of public opinion when it comes to the protests”.

He told The Telegraph: “People are instinctively on the side of order and the police over what they see as concerning levels of unrest… Right now, the message is well-calibrated and his approach is garnering support.”
