Agreed. Once Adaramola is announced I'm quite happy with our defence.

We've basically lost Maatson and Kane. But we have gained Adaramola (hopefully) and Panzo who look excellent. Not seen much of Doyle, but he is highly thought of and must have been brought in to do a job.

On top of that we have Burroughs who seems much more of a contender. Although Eccles may be playing as a midfielder, he is also capable of doing a great job at RWB.

So if we have one more player coming in after Tayo, I hope it is another midfielder.

What are our options behind COH and Palmer?

Sheaf and Hamer start. Allen as back up. Eccles too. But if he's needed to cover RWB, who else in the middle? Kelly is Injured. I don't think Howley is quite ready. I would draft one more in there to keep Allen on his toes. Especially considering the amount of games Hamer will miss through suspension.

Okay Tayo has finally been announced. So one more CM please and we are ready for another promotion push.

Perhaps it is a half season loan in CDM

Don’t see the other player coming in as being a defender. Robins has said he is happy with Burroughs and that he is impressed with the lad we signed from Spurs and we have Eccles.

Think he sees Eccles as a cm this year

Hopefully it'll be Plange and we've managed to shift Walker or Waghorn

RWB please, only position we’re truly short on with Kane leaving.

Be a good signing, but Im not sure if Robins would have to ask the board for more money on that one though

Have we been linked to any RWB’s yet this summer?

Could the other signing be today? With the Tayo announcement being so early, I could see it being a CM tbf with the Kelly injury, enough cover for the right hand side, Burroughs, Eccles and Lusala depending on his development

Totally agree. Enough RWB options now. Why send Kane out just to bring another in? Definitely more reason to bring in another CM.

Reckon Burroughs and Eccles are good enough to be rotation for Dabo, and we also have Lusala who’s supposed to be highly rated. Hoping the loan is either a centre midfielder to cover for Kelly, a backup attacking midfielder (Elliot Anderson?), or Plange and Walker has been loaned out. Don’t think we’ll see a permanent signing unless O’Hare moves on given Robins has had to ask the board for extra funds to complete this 4th loan.

Definitely good enough but doubt he’d want to be back up for Dabo or vice versa. Probably not what we need.

Think we have plenty to go into the start of the season with anyway. Few weeks of transfer window still to go.

Agreed.

We are already going to have to leave a number of players at home as it stands. Great to have depth but need to be mindful of the need to not have a too bloated squad.

Was this due to be today? And when you say "not sure this will happen", do you mean at all, or this week.....?

I was thinking this, have we got room for example for both rose and Doyle on the bench?

Will he opt for 2 strikers on the subs too

Will only be one of rose and Doyle I imagine ... Especially with Tayo joining. 2 of Eccles, Allen and Palmer and then 2 of Tavares, Waghorn, walker...

So that leaves at least 3 players close to the first team left out without including Kane and Kelly. Then you have the likes of Burroughs, Howley beyond that who need a pathway still if we think they are going to make it.

I’ve read that Chelsea are looking to offload three players. Of the three mentioned, I think Matt Miazga would be a good long term permanent replacement for Mcfadzean. Just my own speculative opinion.

Do Chelsea just keep everyone for as long as they can? This guy is 27 and played 2 games for them

Dermi Lusala could well be fast tracked to cover Dabo. Aparantly he's looking good in pre-season.

A classic case of the title not matching the quotes. Robins said he’s not even seen him play/train!

Seems similar to what JCS was, Miagzs is a USA international and played 38 games for Reading a couple of years back, on loan abroad since, these players can be decent additions but would have to take big reductions in their wages, system is a joke there are Chelsea connected players all over the globe should be stopped.

It is being stopped isn't it? From 2023/24 clubs can only loan out six players per season.

Has Liverpool centre-back Sepp Van De Berg gone anywhere yet ? On loan at PNE last season and looked a class act and provern at championship level. Was one player who I thought handled Gyorkeres well in both fixtures. I’d love us to get him

In my view if a decent CM loan potentially was available for 6 months then yes whilst there is Kelly injury but it's not essential. Without outgoing from the first team squad then not beyond that no.
