And for the quiz question earlier, bendtner and saha apparently weren't at Sunderland at the same time. Definitely didn't play with each other.

I see they are saying that, but the official EFL website says this ..

Checkatrade Trophy:

Disciplinary

• Cautions and sending-offs are exclusive to the tournament and won’t affect other EFL or Premier League fixtures.
• Any player who is set to serve a suspension for a yellow or red card offence in any other EFL or FA competition, is free to play in the Checkatrade Trophy.
• Any player who is dismissed from the field of play in a Checkatrade Trophy match will automatically be suspended from the following Checkatrade Trophy match.

It is if you read the Checkatrade Trophy rules.

18 year old from Watford with one game in his career. Just what we need.

Great!

And an 18 year old kid? An awful lot to lump on to his young shoulders.

Maybe we will sign Nasieri too.

About as many out and the squad is no stronger, some of the signings are just bodies Reilly just duplicated what we had talentless midfielders, Clarke is ok and Beavon is ok but won't score enough to save us. The Derby ones only seen the centre back he is better than Turnbull from the bit I saw. Foley not sure he will play much.

Just not enough effort to show any kind of fight to stay up. Why should we bother. Good character building for my 10 year old lad I suppose

Seems a bit odd. The EFL rules clearly state the opposite but other teams have had the same situation.

One thing I will say we give the owners flack for selling too quick too cheaply.
That may not have happened tonight.
Although ironically on this occassion I think some people would take the deal and use the cut price offers for swap harries, Stephenson, Willis, Haynes
To bring in a hard man midfielders and a couple of proven experienced strikers.

Nothing against the kid he may turn out to be good but we needed a Hanson, Clarke someone of that ilk

That is the fa cup and EFL cup (league cup) competitions which are referred to here. Willis was sent off in a league match

Don't forget we still have Kwame Thomas coming back from injury. He's supposed to be big, fast and 'very mobile'. Unfit though after a 6-month layoff.

Done deal

Coventry, rock bottom of League One and heading for the fourth tier, have signed Watford forward Michael Folivi on loan. He must have been about 17th choice striker at Vicarage Road.

BBC pretty much spot on with this one

Well that's what I said at first, but it's not very clear is it. As someone said, the league IS a competition.

Should have said 'cup' competition if that is the case.

Eoin Doyle went there as Paul Cook is Portsmouth manager and Doyle previously played for Cook at Chesterfield. A real shame because Doyle would have scored goals. As it stands we just don't have the goalscorer to get us out of trouble.
