SISU must be Leicester fans who saw you lot laugh at us when we got relegated in 2008; even after you lost at Charlton. Oh how times change between the respective clubs

Don't worry it will be lifted early mid July when all our main transfer targets have signed elsewhere again.......................Its okay though, its the rent, F & B, Stewarding costs, Light bulbs, laundrette bill.................and the idiots of the world question why Robins hopped it for a secure contract at a stable club !!

WHAT???? Are you really suggesting that the fact that no deal has been done on the stadium has impacted on the failure to file accounts? What the hell does that have to do with the figures on last years trading?

Actually quite a lot.

If the auditors are unhappy about how it impacts the financial status of the company going forward they will refuse to sign us off as a going concern.

They will be trying to unravel all the lies and progaganda from both sides to establish the state of play. Good luck to them, but if they are not convinced the accounts won't get signed, or they will qualify us ( thats actually bad, despite sounding good ).

To be clear. The rent level has been signed off in previous years. It hasn't changed since this lot have been in charge, so it's not the biggest factor standing in the way of accounts being workable

And what about ACL, they are just as responsible for a deal not being agreed as SISU?

This is assuming the accounts can't be done unless a deal on the stadium is agreed.

A hefty assumption there. It would seem that SISU's annual filing of the CCFC accounts is on a different annual cycle to the FL deadline, probably due to having the secure funding from the shareholders each year. In which case, it is "normal business practice" in the sense that there is no need for panic, just that SISU cannot structure the filing around the FL requirements.

The same thing happened last year, before the rent row kicked off, so we must assume that it's not related.

As for ACL being to "blame" for the non-agreement, what you mean is that they haven't caved in to all of SISU's demands, how unreasonable of them!

Robins has far from a secure contract.. He's been given a rolling agreement by Huddersfield.. Things go wrong for him and they can bin him with no pay off

I was more thinking about the threats of ACL to 'pursue legal options', which is basically a threat to wind up the company.

The actual rent level itself is nothing, and I don't think it's really what it's all about. Even if they give us rent free we are still up the creek.

The deadline to file is based on the club's financial year end, not a date set by the FL. SISU used to file it on time, auditors now rate them as not a viable concern and haven't done for 3 years

Bank accounts frozen, transfer embargo for 3rd year running, don't own stadium or match day revenues, threat of liquidation hanging over them from the council, what desperate fool would take the manager position?

We're a joke, simple as that

What happened to the "Finances agreed for the next 3 seasons" statement from Fisher at the start of the season??

hey finally came out of that embargo in the May after the club provided a cash flow forecast in the form of interim accounts.

This is proof that the rent issue has nothing to do with the failure to do the books on time. When they filed the above accounts they must have included the contracted rent that had to be paid. So anyone saying it is ACL fault are looking through owner tinted glasses.

Listen to yourselves! Who cares if we get a transfer embargo after the loan deadline is passed and we can't sign players anyway!?

Swindon had a transfer embargo, didn't make their owners the bastard there! Also says we're trying to sign a player...

... It was the selling of Matt Ritchie that made his position 'untenable', not the embargo, but he was annoyed that 3 signings couldn't be completed he had signed, because of the embargo.

Add that and his volatile personality, he was always going to resign, if he became manager (which won't happen) we'd be living in constant fear of Di Canio resigning over something so stupid, I think he'll be a manager that has to be constantly pleased else he'll resign, and as we know, not every manager can get everything he wants, it could prevent him from becoming a successful manager.

What does it matter if we can't sign players anyway, with or without an embargo?

Anything to have a go at the owners - that's just petty.

You can mention that we missed out on Collins and Syrers, but we ended up getting McG (then Leon), Bailey and Moussa instead, I say we were better off in hindsight. Although I was frustrated we missed on 2 good players at the time.

Whilst I have some support for the club around the rent row you cannot support them for failing to provide accounts yet again if this is the case. FFS this is the least they should do to try and win over the doubters.:jerkit:

The accounts may very well be posted. Club doesn't have to announce they've been done.

Who would you expect to replace them?

No one in their right mind would agree to what ACL are demanding, and you can be sure that any potential investor would seek a similar deal like SISU are currently doing. As it has been said many times, i am sure some would suddenly change their viewpoint.

This is Coventry City we are talking about.

Doing things on time and in accordance with expectation is not what we deal in.
