Yeah the way in which UKIP is heading thanks to Stephen and his mates. Muslim extremist or fascist, they’re all pretty much the same coin.

Fascist as an insult? ... As a political epithet, fascist has been used in an anti-authoritarian sense to emphasize the common ideology of governmental suppression of individual freedom. In this sense, the word fascist is intended to mean oppressive, intolerant, chauvinist, genocidal, dictatorial, racist, or aggressive.

It is the person and not religion. Devout Muslims are very peaceful. They spend most of their time in prayer or thinking of their religion. But if you believed what you read you would think all Muslims are terrorists.

If all Muslims are terrorists I must be a bad person as Stalin was also Atheist.

If the truth needs to come out there is a better chance of someone believing in a God being a lawful person as they have something to fear. Someone without a religion or religious beliefs has nothing to fear in that way.

The Muslims you seem to be talking about are not Muslims. They do not follow their faith. IIRC the Zabur is the original teaching but the Quran is the most used these days. Causing harm has nothing to do with practicing Muslims. I used to have serious debates with others of all faiths when we were stoned to the bone. We could say what we wanted as nobody was ever in a fit state to do anything. I found it so revealing. It is surprising how close most religions are.

Agree with most of that. Disagree with religious people being more law abiding. Our jails are full of people who count themselves as religious. The idea of frightening people with hell and damnation in the past didn’t stop crime, wars or persecution. If you are a good person you will see religion differently to how a bad person does. It goes back to what sort of person you are.

Yeah - Mafia are famously religious. Use it as an excuse to go to confession, say a few Hail Mary's and that's it. Conscience is clear, all is forgiven and Heaven awaits cos I paid a pathetic penance.

Religion can make people do very good things and be philanthropic that they wouldn't otherwise do, but those few that go the other way tend to go big.

But those you speak of do not follow their religion to the letter. Many use it as a way of getting others to see things their way. As in hate preachers. Are you telling me a hate preacher follows a peaceful religion?

Unbelievable! If they followed their religion to the letter it would be many times worse! Luckily these religious texts are often cherry-picked by more moderate believers.

Let's follow religion to the letter, just a few examples from the two books followed by billions of believers worldwide.

They both prescribe the killing of disbelievers (Quran 8:12-13, 47:4; Leviticus 24:16); order their adherents to fight and enslave those with differing beliefs, a la ISIS (Quran 9:29-30, Deuteronomy 20:10-18); endorse wife-beating (Quran 4:34) and the stoning to death of non-virginal brides (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); order women to quietly submit to the authority of men (1 Timothy 2:11-12); and mandate the public lashing of fornicators (Quran 24:2) and the killing of homosexuals (Leviticus 20:13).

Lovely stuff.

This shows how clueless you are on religion.

I suppose there are not any bad people who do not have religion.

Good lad Stephen, just finding the home addresses of critics and visiting them at night with friends just for a friendly chat. If you can't hammer on someone's windows at night, free speech is basically dead

Come on, you can't turn up on your own at a leftie snowflake's house at 10pm (and then 5am as well), they could have their pals high on tofu armed with rolled up copies of the Guardian as weapons

so it’s alright for 5 blokes to go his house when he’s not there and they knew that. when it happens the other way round he’s out of order? Pot kettle black. Tr was filiming it the whole time and asked to speak to him. why don’t the bloke speak to him in person instead of spouting rubbish on the net being a keyboard warrior

Nothing suggests an invitation for a gentle chat like turning up unannounced to someone's home with a gang in tow late at night hammering the door and windows and then returning again at 5am.

No, it isn't OK for a group of blokes to go to anybodies house I don't think.

However if it is something he enjoys doing himself it is more likely to happen to him in return.

If anyone's trying to intimidate the Yaxley-Lennon family with a group visit in the middle of the night or broadcasting their home address to an audience of angry impressionable followers they're equally as bad, it goes without saying. It's a c**t's trick no matter who's doing it.

5 people handed the letter (informing him that he was being prosecuted for slandering that 15 year old Syrian kid) over to a police officer 50m away from Stephen's house. The guy Stephen visited for 'a chat' had helped crowdfund the legal fees. 'Tommy' is a thug and is often off his face on sniff. Fuck him, call the old bill.
