On the flip side to negativity we easily could have won 1 nil and wouldn't be such an inquest. Early days no point panicking yet

Exactly right.

We had won 1-0 and there would have been a bit of a moan and that would have been it.

Clearly officials made critical errors. We should have won. We didn't, but let's not make mountains out of molehills.

Let's be honest the only thing that would have stopped any kind of criticism was a 4/5 nil win...

Every team will get results like this and it is far too early in the season to make any judgements. I am sure MR will have some words to say on the training ground this week but this time in the season there are often unusual results. Certainly not time for knee jerk reactions, but the result is very disappointing and you have feel it is points dropped. Well done to Bolton's young lads

Bolton had an average of under 19 and average league appearances of 2. CCFC had average age of 24 and average appearances of 114. We should have had enough experience and nous in the team to have done better, even given that some of the referee decisions were dubious. Yes we have some young players but those players have had opportunities to play league football. Only Bapaga and Westbrook didn't individually have more league experience than the entire match day Bolton squad. Someone like Shipley is 21 but has something like 66 league appearances

But onwards and upwards, hopefully the squad will learn from it. PUSB's
