Change the bloody record!

It's people like you who are driving a wedge between those who travel to Sixfields (to watch the game from inside the ground) and those who don't.

Read what AndreasB wrote and come up with something constructive to say for once.

your wrong m8 its people who go to sixfeilds that are the problem as 90% of fans won't go

Yes, remember the Burton Albion game last season. People couldn't be arsed to turn up at the Ricoh most of the time.

SISU have already changed their 'You'll be back' / 'We have moved on' / 'Here are the plans' stance to 'We won't wait around for long' and 'We press on with Plan A but if we could own the Ricoh then....'. The goalposts in this debate will continue to publicly move (worst case scenario for them is surely a cheap rent agreement). Why has this changed recently?

At The Ricoh it would be 8-9k; at Shitttyfuckingfields it will be about 1k. BUT THAT'S OK COS YOU'LL BE THERE ENJOYING IT, WON'T YOU?

Of course not - the club would cease to exist in that case. Your point I assume is that by going to Sixfields we are legitimising SISU somehow and therefore slowing down the chances of them exiting? You could take the view that by going to sixfields we are actually helping the club continue as an entity. You should thank me for it but I doubt you will.

Id like to congratulate you all on creating a fantastic atmosphere in the cowshed.

Let them liquidate it then. We can start again.

Anything is better than sisu's sixfields skyblues.

I can't see the problem. There will always be those that want to continue going, so I think a 90% drop in attendances is bloody brilliant with regards the NoPM thing.

Sorry Andreas I don't see your point on this one. My point is that there won't be a massive swell in attendance at Sixfields, if anything they may decrease - I didn't mention the Ricoh.

So why have we sold out our allocation to see SISU's Sixfields Sky Blues at Wolves on Saturday then? Same 11 players. Same shirt. Same badge.

Just playing devils advocate.....

...but before Sisu arrived....our attendances were shit sometimes too....

...and the only time we've sold out the Ricoh (for a football match) was under Sisu....

...is the answer 42?

sold out for a semi-final 2 leg affair with the chance of Wembley and Chelsea in the 5th round of cup both times the bandwagon comes out

week in week out the hard-core dwindled under sisu , just look at the ave attendance for each year since 07

Fucking hell, that was a round 1 JPT game. There would have been just Andrea, RFC and their children there if had been at Sixfields.

And then comparing to the average championship attendance at HR. Ignoring league one football, the Ricoh attendances was falling before sisu came back to the level we had at HR.

I just don't think Seppala will lose face on this. It's Ricoh or bust.

I dont think the Sisu investors will give a toss whether Joy loses face or not as its not her money. She gave them some spin that everyone would turn up at Sixfields and they would get the Ricoh on the cheap. We'll see. But they wont chuck money away forever.

She didn't spin that at all. They publically said 3,000 fans - whether its 2 or 3,000 its a thumping loss every week.

Tim definitely said that, 3000 low end of expectations. Oh and we would all be back after 3 games.

Its not just 1,000 missing fans, the home fans are also paying less as they are heavily discounted tickets with promotions etc.. for ST holders. I see us at Cobblers for a max of 2 years, they will be able to partially fund this year losses through sales of Christie & Callum and possibly Leon. Next year IMO if we have a weaker squad and are losing games regularly (at home this season performances and results have been magnificent) crowds could dip below 1,000 regularly.

If SISU truly have a long term plan and their expectations were so low, they must have budgeted for it, now there getting 2k not 3k, over a season its small change compared to the long term losses and the possible future profits based on a successful footbal team.

Time will tell if Sisu have again failed to have a plan B when making business decision in football, my gut feeling is they have made another mistake and have misjudged and not understood the fan base...Sixfields was the end for most and will prove to be more damaging to Sisu than they thought, 3000 fans on bad days is in reality Sisu's best day and the loss of revenue must be alarming in the long term to those who were told different.

The FL do need to look at this and Sisu's investors will not carry on funding a failing club with no realistic return on the investment. No matter how much money you have it doesn't mean it will keep flowing in to fund the current situation and make it even harder to increase the amount..I don't wish any harm or abuse to those who go, just wish most would understand the opinion on all sides and let time give us all the answer and solutions to this sad part in our clubs history..

Andreas great post by the way....

I think they have just had another misjudgement. Its not just the ticket sales - its sponsorships, kit sales, F&B etc.
Also, unless they do a deal its for more than 1 year probably 5 if you believe they are building a new stadium. So 5 years at Sixfields with no income. Unsustainable losses in anyones world. Serious investors just chucking money away to the bitter end. You think that is how they became rich, or think they will bale out and cut their losses at some point unless they get the Ricoh?

The original question has a notable anti-SISU feel to it. Implying that though those who go to sixfields have different opinions on SISU to those who don't. I don't believe anyone thinks being at sixfields is a good thing, even those who go.

But one thing the supporters who have chosen to go to the games can comment on, perhaps more than those who have chosen not to go, is the state of the footballing side of things which look rosey. We're taking all the right steps to build the foundations of a good football club. Bringing through the academy players, bringing in experienced players, playing attractive attacking football. Sure we're going to, and have had, a few bumps on the way but on the pitch things are very positive.

Dunno what is worse, you wanting the club to be liquidated. Or the fact that two people 'liked' this suggestion.

Well I for one would agree that anything IS better than SISU's Sixfields SkyBlues.

And I think you will find that there are several thousand of us.

Several thousand who'd rather the club be wiped out and reset? Outside of people who don't grasp what that would actually entail, I don't see it.
