A few people have, not necessarily on here. I'm excited about him to be fair. Simmer down.

Hussey, wood, Cameron, murphy, kilbane, Elliot ( I think) are all 6 foot. Not sure why everyone thinks we are a small team?? Baker has got to be about 6 foot aswell. There's 7 out of 11. Thomas as well

I have seen him play a few times really busy player who has enough ability to play league 1 football, if he fits in will add experience and energy to a side that will need it...

Another short player.

Get ready to concede lots of goals from set pieces again next season! It was a real weakness last year.

Maybe as he is a short player and no good at defending corners we'll leave him up near the half-way line rather than bring him back into our own penalty box to defend.

Read my post (directly above yours). It was an observation - where did I say he's crap?

Elliott is small - something like 5' 7" to 5' 9". Cody at 5' 10" is actually taller.

As you say, Baker is tall at 6' 2" - and Thomas and Christie are both of a similar height.

Fleck at 5' 7", alongside similarly-sized Jennings and Elliott would be a very small trio, but it didn't do Barca any harm. Especially given Thorn's Guardiolan-style of total football (inserted especially to get 'Grenduffy' choking on his Cornflakes )

My son watched Jennings for 3 seasons. I believe what he says over someone who says he is too short. After all everything he said about Juke was correct.

Exactly. It should be a case of waiting to see how he fits in if he signs and what he can do on the pitch no matter what his size was.

I am surprised nobody said Bigi was too short anyway for us when he left (they did mention light weight though)

We conceded loads of goals from set pieces last season. My point was that Andy Thorn isn't rectifying it by signing short people.

And this is from a Thorn 'fanboy'

tbf the majority of us fans got really excited over Flecks signing calling him premiership potential and some people saying it was the best signing since Robbie Keane

I remember reading that. I would say he's a complete unknown quantity which is why I'm neither excited or negative about signing him.

Fat, thin, what does it matter.

Mick Quinn was fat but scored goals for fun.
Kevin Kyle was thin and missed goals for fun.

Son says Fleck is a good player, but is prone to having bad days. Juat hope he has many more good than bad and the fans don't get on his back too early.

Tbf I was just excited to see us bring in players. I was excited about Fleck (not quite to the degree above mind) and thrilled about Kilbane. Elliot is an unknown quantity to me personally, so look forward to seeing what he can do. From what I've read about this Jennings lads, I'm quite excited about the prospect of this 1 as well. All in all, a happy chappy if this goes through, we need a bit of steel in the middle - any team does really (even Barca have players who can put their boot in) and quite like the prospect of him and either Thomas or Kilbane alongside.

Defending corners isn't all about height anyway. You have to be organised, mark your men etc. Even if you can't win the header you can make if difficult for the opponent.

A free header is a free header whether you're 5 foot 4 or 6 foot 6.

Just had a look at a Motherwell forum and they all seem to highly rate "Jenno." Some seemed bitter about him leaving them which sounds good for us to be honest and most seem to be bewildered that he is potentially joining a League 1 side.

The fact that he is trialling, is a positive. He is willing to fight for a contract. We need hungry young players, a bit of grit and determination too. Seems like the runt we need.
