But it don't matter. For me I feel like he is gonna overtake godden, mcnulty Armstrong and mcgoldrick as best non prem striker we have had.

I think we all saw Viktor get better as last season went on but I think they saw the player he will become and believed in him enough to bring him black.

I know some have said he reminds them of Adebola, but that's taking it too far?!

Him too

When I mean best I don't mean who is most talented I should clarify . I mean like favourite or best contribution relative to league they played in for us

I don’t see that at all - Juckewitz or however you spell his name I’d say yes he’s pretty similar to him I think

He's kinda like Paulo Wanchope with his dribbling.

It was his typo of 'black' when he meant ' back'

I still think King was a better all round striker than all these

Did you just post this to start an offshoot of the Vik thread?! Could go in any old direction with a 'Marlon' input.

No it was a direct quote to someone comparing our best non prem strikers and Gyokeres. Marlon King was a better striker than these IMO

Not sure about that, just had a look at their recent squads and I think there's a fair few strikers ahead of him. Hope he manages it though

Yeah, he’s 2 years older than someone like Isak who was great at the Euros

The longer our players stay away from internationals/travel the better. Less chance of injuries, illnesses and more recovery time. Wait until we've reached the PL, then Fadz can travel to the World Cup with my blessing.

ah hopefully not, Juke was a hard worker but a poor finisher IMO. A 9 goal a season striker.

He got 9 goals in half a season then we sold him to Boro - at Blues he’s scored 14 and 15 in the last couple of seasons

Stern John the best striker we've had since Premiership days.

He does so much work on and off the ball and physically works so hard, really hope his fitness is up to it and he can carry on.

i'm not suggesting he has shown he doesnt have good fitness, just hope he can keep it up!

John was good, unfortunately never ran around a lot so was booed. A quick look at his and Morrell’s career will tell you who the better player was

Was one of the highlights of the day watching the Boro lads sprawled out next to the goal while Vik soaked up the adulation. Was watching from the North Stand and couldn't believe how long they just lay there - no doubt thinking about what Warnock was gonna say to them!

Pleasantly surprised just how effective Vik has been so far though.

He was certainly better than a lot gave him credit for, but I thought Marlon KIng was better.

The team as a whole are looking a lot fitter. Every game I’ve seen we get stronger in the last 15 as the opposition has faded.
Those late goals at home are not just luck.

I love him so much.

when it was still 0-0 tonight he was passed the ball somewhere near the halfway line. There were about 5 Posh players near him and no support. He didn't shit it, lose the ball or play it safe. He held one defender off, turned another then headed straight to goal and managed to get a reasonable shot away. Proper centre forward play of the like I haven't seen at city for a long time.

Absolute steal at double the price.

In terms of value, I think someone on here said we could get £10mil for him…I genuinely think he could command a much larger fee.
Not that I want to sell him of course.

At the moment he is incredible, 7 goals and 2 assists in 9 games. i can’t remember the last time we had a striker who runs at or dribbles around defenders to cause havoc like he does. If he keeps this up my biggest worry will be how do we replace him in January or next summer.

One thing that I'm still not over is that if he could score a penalty we'd be top of the league

Peak SkyBluesTalk with conversation of him being our best striker since relegation when only a few weeks ago he was getting absolute pelters for daring to take a penalty. (The person I quote below isn’t alone, gyo gets absolute abuse on the whole thread)
