Receptionists at the doctors surgery, making you feel weird for saying the doctor asked you to book another appointment…it’s like you’ve asked them for something precious, and they don’t want to hand it over.

18 month old’s sleeping pattern/habits have gone out the window this week. Was up with him from 2-5am then slept on his floor for a couple of hours.

4 month old sleeps for 8 hours a night but during the day fights sleeping like nobody’s business and just wants to play.

Is it just me that finds the RIP posts to employees or partners people post on Linkedin a bit distasteful?

Again, people's lack of intelligence in crowds or in public.

Got on a train here in Czech. Four carriages. The closest carriage to the station entrance is 90% full, the other carriages are 90% empty (no seat reservations).

I went to the third one. Sat down in what was essentially a private train, then two people get on, walk down the train, see me, carry on walking, and sit right next to me.

Trains definitely do something weird to people's brains. I commute via train three times a week and the amount of times I've had to fight past people standing uselessly in the vestibule only to find that there's plenty of empty seats in the carriages is baffling.

The one that gets me with trains recently is when they basically decommission all reserved seats as it is too busy, a train has been missed etc but people still fight their way to their previously reserved seats as if it doesn’t count for them!

Had it coming out of Euston last week and this couple in their 50’s essentially tried to bully this girl but fair play to her she clearly explained what was going on, that her seat had been taken as well and basically tough fucking shit!

1) People all weekend asking 'are you off now until the new year'. no i'm fucking not, I'm at work

2) People who have jobs that can 100% be done from home but have come into the office Christmas week coughing everywhere when the news is full of reports of 'super flu'

Cheers, but it isn’t!

Seems it is illness related, which in a way is good as at least there’s an explanation for it. Bad news is that his temperature is getting up to the late 38s so just a case of managing that to make sure he doesn’t overheat.

The cold that I've struggled to shake off after catching it in Cov last weekend. I'm getting quite bad sinus pain now even though the worst of the cold has gone, can't seem to shake it.

This is fairly trivial but the fact that it is and the fact that it rears its head weekly makes it more annoying.

I am the only person in the house that has Weetabix for breakfast, 2 every morning. Now, you get the packets and they have an even number in and this is where the issue is. Someone (nobody willing to fess up) has had a single Weetabix about 6 or 7 months ago and as there an uneven number left in the paper packet every time I have to leave an odd one in there or open another pack to get the second one out for my breakfast. It really pisses me off an a weekly basis and I won't throw one away to even things up.

6 or 7 months ago but the packet remains? How big was it? It would need be at least 360 bix!

When I was a youth (an ice-age ago) a mate used to jam about seven or eight in a deep bowl, bung on what seemed like two pints of milk, and eat the friggin lot.
And he's still alive at 75 and about half my size - which probably proves what a healthy breakfast Weetabix is (?).

Lose all your breakfast healthy eating points for consuming Weetabix. Oatibix far better for your belly. Been eating them (with a few spoonfuls of granola) for years !
