Receptionists at the doctors surgery, making you feel weird for saying the doctor asked you to book another appointment…it’s like you’ve asked them for something precious, and they don’t want to hand it over.

18 month old’s sleeping pattern/habits have gone out the window this week. Was up with him from 2-5am then slept on his floor for a couple of hours.

4 month old sleeps for 8 hours a night but during the day fights sleeping like nobody’s business and just wants to play.

Is it just me that finds the RIP posts to employees or partners people post on Linkedin a bit distasteful?

Again, people's lack of intelligence in crowds or in public.

Got on a train here in Czech. Four carriages. The closest carriage to the station entrance is 90% full, the other carriages are 90% empty (no seat reservations).

I went to the third one. Sat down in what was essentially a private train, then two people get on, walk down the train, see me, carry on walking, and sit right next to me.

Trains definitely do something weird to people's brains. I commute via train three times a week and the amount of times I've had to fight past people standing uselessly in the vestibule only to find that there's plenty of empty seats in the carriages is baffling.

If nothing else I applaud your use of the word vestibule.

The one that gets me with trains recently is when they basically decommission all reserved seats as it is too busy, a train has been missed etc but people still fight their way to their previously reserved seats as if it doesn’t count for them!

Had it coming out of Euston last week and this couple in their 50’s essentially tried to bully this girl but fair play to her she clearly explained what was going on, that her seat had been taken as well and basically tough fucking shit!
