The A5 between Hinckley and Treacletown.
Surely the most fucked up stretch of trunk road in the country.
I can drive sixty miles along it from north Wales direction with nary a hold up, but can guarantee that the last few miles to home just off the A5 will be a stop-start mess (and that's if a lorry hasn't hit the railway bridge - which happens with alarming regularity - in which case, forget it!

Nope, not 'avin' it! It's got to be the A46 Evesham by-pass. Solid in both directions more often than not!

Christ, no.
With my eyes? I never drive in the dark.
Perhaps that's it though. My eyesight is so shitty perhaps I didn't see all the cars parked there?

Used the Foleshill Road yesterday first time in years.Cars were parked on every inch of yellow lines , people crossing the road as though it is a pedestrian only area. Is that usual or was I unlucky.

Normal. Plus double parking and cars pulling out of side roads that you have to break for.

Ordering bulky stuff like appliances online and they give you a delivery window of 7am to 7pm but can miraculously give you a precise time slot for an extra £20. Chancers

Kids wearing balaclava's everywhere now. Just come home and on my way back i Must have seen 3 seperate kids riding electric bikes wearing them.

Why is there not something banning kids from wearing them in public. They just look menacing.

Most of it has always been American?
You're always better off watching the original with subtitles rather than dubbed; it's awful.

Feels like there's a gentle 1970s BBC2 sitcom to be made about Nick scrolling through Netflix only to find that every program is Korean, then getting annoyed; trying to distract himself by clicking on some breaking football story only to find that it's actually women's football, getting annoyed etc etc

Foreign films are fantastic, Korean thrillers and horrors piss all over the rest of the world with what they have too offer.

Lived in Foleshill for almost ten years and that’s completely normal. Traffic enforcement seemed to get me every time I parked on double yellows in my cul de sac but never stopped people just parking up blocking half a lane of Foleshill Road off, or parking their trailer without road tax for months on end. I’d have thought any number of traffic wardens walking up and down there all day and night would pay for themselves ten times over.

I don't mind some, I'll happily watch good stuff with sub titles when I really want to watch the show.

People who who love 70s, 80s etc and listent to nothing else and discriminate against modern music.

It's all about personal taste but there's some people who simply won't listen to anything other than 70s, 80s etc out of habit.

It'd be like reading the same books or seeing same films over and over.

I dunno but I think it’s about the era people were having most fun and were at their ‘best’ ie younger, getting off their heads more, having more sex. A nostalgia. I’m a kid of the 90s…so it’s all nirvana, house music and hip hop for me.
I like to think that I give newer stuff a go…I’m just not exposed to it so much. I know next to nothing about current pop music.
