They often whack the price up to the RRP a month or so before and then the BF discount is off the RRP rather than the average price throughout the year.

I’d imagine it’s a big part of why Aldi/Lidl and others have the ones you put a quid in. Entices people to return the trolley.

Having to be age verified at self service checkouts when buying Zero alcohol beer. Why is it necessary, and why can’t it be automated? I do look clearly over 18!

You can tell a lot about a person from car parks alone. Encroach across spaces, park in a disabled/parent bay without qualifying for either, leave your trolley to roam free, all hallmarks of a twat

TBF I think because in the old days there would be some static on the line even if silent and these days when the phone detects silence it doesn’t send anything I think so it’s actual silence.
