Look at these twats - Family OUTRAGED at missing Christmas jumper order

They have posed outside ASDA and made the kid pull a sad face.

Here's the other one - Dad-of-five FURIOUS after shivering family left without heating

Fuck off, they should just be laughed at. Typical social media attention mongrels.

We all know how you like a nice ‘unhappy pose’ outside the scene of the incident Nick.

If I ever won the lottery and didn't have to work id setup an emergency hot line. If they are spotted taking these photos people can dial a number where the rapid two foot response (custard pie for females and kids) rush to the scene and 2 foot them or hammer them with custard pies and left with a message of "sort your life out"

I literally never eat on a plane journey, the food is often crap, and i don't fly well. Someone going without food for 7 hours isn't the end of the world. I am sure she can afford something when she lands,

I have had some situations such as these. I am sure we all have.

I would never, ever go to the papers though. These sorts of stories should be nowhere near a newspaper.

It's all rather sad and pathetic really.

Sneak thieves and red tape NHS.

My dad (88) had his bag stolen at Coventry Market today.

All his medication was taken.

Spent 3 hours being sent from pillar to post ringing around to speak to a nurse (or anyone of her team) who had treated him this morning to get a repeat prescription of medications etc.

Geez that was hard work.
Hmm, as a follow-up to this, my parents received a phone call this morning from a woman who said she found my dad's medicine.

This is 6 days on from the theft. Alarm bells immediately going off for me.

She didn't say where she found it and has said she will come round tomorrow night (Saturday) to give it back.

Am I being too cynical, or am entirely right to be on 99.9% fraudster alert?

You have given them your dad's address? I'd make it somewhere neutral and trusted.

Drop them off at a Doctor's or a Police Station.

Or have a cricket bat in your hands and wait for them to come around.

My dad's name and address and phone number were on the medicine.

Luckily, the number came up my parents' caller display.

I therefore texted the number and said thanks, but just throw it all away, it's all been replaced.

It could be somebody honest has found it though also.

We had it with the wife's bag and purse. They took what they wanted, threw it into the bush. Somebody found it and thankfully got in touch and she got the bag and purse back.

Sounds well dodgy to me. My parents are too trusting, but....

1. Why not say where they found it?

2. Why come round with the medicine? Like Nick says, just meet somewhere neutral like in town.

3. Why bring the stuff on a Saturday night?

Yeah, but as it's medicinal my dad doesn't want it back anyway. Could have been tampered with.

Sounds pretty genuine Otis, sort of thing I’d do/offer if I found a bag.
Odd she wouldn’t say where she found it though.

Did she straight up refuse to say or just not mention where she found it?

It could well be somebody genuine who thinks they are trying to help / do a good deed though. Obviously can't be too careful.

Yeah, maybe, but why Saturday night?

The cynic in me thinks they rang up to see if it was an old couple that answered the phone.

They are both 88 and certainly wouldn't want someone knocking on their door on a Saturday night.

Would have thought the caller would have immediately identified that they were old and took that into consideration.

Don't think she mentioned it.

My mum has the early stages of dementia, so she wouldn't ask, but my parents did tell her they lost it in the market. You would then think she would offer up where she found it.

The other thing that occurred to me is if it was someone who thought they might get a little reward out of it.

Anyway, my parents don't want anyone going round (they only ever have family come round, no-one else) and my dad has said he WOULD throw the medicine away anyway.

I wonder if they have had any more children since these stories came out as he seems quite prolific

Think she has only been pregnant twice since.

Once with the twins and once with the triplets.

Both fathers failed to support her and did a runner.

Understand that.

It could just be that they aren't available until Saturday. Probably worth giving the police the number (they might have a list of known smackheads they can compare it to).

Will do.

My parents start fretting if anyone knocks their door at nighttime.

Can understand that as well.

Least if the police are told they know in advance (probably wont make much difference) but if you have said this number has rang and wanted to go round on Saturday and then somebody rocks up.

Bloody useless.

Police said if someone turns up and my parents feel threatened they need to ring 999 and they will send officers round.

Didn't want any details (caller phone number, parents address etc). Nowt!

Hopefully your text will mean they don't turn up anyway.
But if they do I'd say you should deal with everything yourself at the doorstep.
Don't let anyone in the house or even see your parents.
The fact that their number came up on caller id is probably a good sign.

Yeah.

They have just responded to my text saying not to come round and just throw the items away with a simple 'okay'.
