I thought they'd just left it unlocked by accident, but it could be Gabriel trying to prove a point. Imagine if the whisperers are surrounding someone and out of nowhere Negan turns up with Lucille smashing the shit out of them, instant hero

Yep I thought it was left unlocked by accident by the guard perhaps..

Just watched the trailer now.

One thing I picked up on was Michonne wielding her sword to cut someone down.

It wasn't the usual look of determinism and steel emanating from her, she had a look of vengefulness and pain and hurt.

Someone very close to her is going to die I think.

Who do we think is close to her though? She seems distant from everyone?

Well either that, or Whsiperers are going to be killing children.

Yeah, just posted that.

She looks in absolute rage and despair at the same time in the clip, but maybe I am making too much of it.

Hmmm that would be very dark, but guess we have had it before with the two young girls from the prison?

I always thought they might have considered going super grim and killing Judith as a baby, probably wouldn't have got past the censors though.

Thing is with RJ, we've hardly seen him on screen at all, so there has been no build up of any kind between character and audience.

I don't think they dare kill Judith, but Rick Junior? Yup. Could see that.

Don’t want to spoil it but THAT Scene was the best one in a few series

TBF if somebody is reading the thread having not watched it then they should expect spoilers. Probably the perfect character to kill off also. People like him, but wouldn't stop watching because of his death.

Agreed, absolutely great and part of another strong episode. I didn't bother watching the previous series but it's got me hooked again! It will interesting to see what happens with Negan, he can either pal up with the Whisperers or gain 'redemption' amongst the normal people again by going on a wrecking spree.

Yer the dodge was unreal. I actually exclaimed a negan style 'shit!' when it happened. Although the whisperer did then just stand their admiring his work whilst everyone came piling in and killed him

Ryan Hurst who played Opie in sons of anarchy and chick in Bates motel is playing one of the whisperers .

I think he’s great actor

Another piece of trivia.

Macsen Limits played young Henry at the Kingdom. We are now supposedly 6 years on and Henry is now played by Matt Lintz, Macsen's brother.

And to top it off, Madison Lintz, Matt's and Macsen's sister, played Sophia Peltier in season two, Carol's daughter.

Just caught up. Final episode before break was great.
Don't read the comics so all the whisperers stuff really had me sucked in.
Shame Jesus died as I really liked his character but that pre-kill dodge was great.
Wondering if the Michonne bit in the trailer is something that happend during the 6 year jump as there was a conversation between her and Tara(?) about having to make tough decisions.
Carol still has shit hair and Ezekiel needs to put his red star trek uniform for the wash...

Wasn't a bad final episode but why a six year jump? No explanations. No reasoning. Nothing. One day I'm watching it as normal, the next time I see it, Carol has hair that makes her look like a wild Red Indian Squaw! And who's the kid that calls her "mum"? I never saw her preggie? And who has been looking after Negan? He looked like he'd just left his local hairdressers! Very smart! And when did the daft vicar bloke lose an eye? Oh, and just one more thing (Columbo!)….. How do we know that 6 years have passed? I never heard that mentioned once. Unless it was when I went for a good crap!

it was always an assumption I believe, based on how much older Judith is and also the fact that Michonne's child is about 5 - 5 and a half (RJ - Rick Junior)

Ah! RJ! Of course! Rick Junior! So who's the kid that calls Carol, "Mum"?

Ah, Henry!!

He was just 'adopted ' by the King and then Carol, after his family were all killed.

Cheers Otis. That helps! I enjoyed the last episode as I said, but felt a bit lost with the plot.

It is better. Better writing I think and a bit fresher. I didn't care for Carrrrrrrl much anyway, so glad to see him out of the picture.

Actress who plays Michonne is leaving soon now too, only a limited amount of appearances next season then done. Feels like it's winding down

Really? Wasn't aware of that.

Won't be many left of the regulars.

Strangely seeing a fair few films lately with Jeffery (Negan) Morgan in them. Not new films either. I'd not noticed him as an actor before, more of an "American actor nobody in the UK has heard of" sort of thing, but now when I see him in other productions, me and 'er indoors both pipe up "Look! It's Negan!"

Hmmm .... a good episode, but also rather frustrating too.

Last week - Question Lydia and constantly ask 'How many of you are there in your group?'

This week - Lydia gets to start talking freely, but they stop asking the question.

Then there was the Hilltop newcomers group. Yumiko begs them to go out in the dead of night to try and fine Luke, even though it's a totally dumb move, really, really dangerous and could get them all kicked out of Hilltop.

As soon as they go out Yukimo says it's too dangerous and too dark and they need to go back. And guess what, they're followed.

A lot of dumbness abounding tonight.

I'm finding it harder to keep track of who's who. Darryl's the only real character at the moment and he's just a mumbling emo tramp.

Yeah, Tara's okay, but not that strong of a character and most of the new ones are either bland or a rejig of old characters in new form.

I think losing Rick and Maggie and Michonne is going to hit the series very hard.

Pretty much all the good characters have disappeared, or are just about to. The three above, plus Morgan and Glenn and then previously, Shane and Herschel etc.

I didn't care for last week's episode, but thought this one was decent, but you do have to wonder just how much legs this has all got left.
