Need to keep these guys fit. But that is as decent as they get at this level barring the top 3 teams...and best we seen in a long while.

Is this spine really that good or do we just have a damn good first TEAM .

I think there's a few things .

We've obviously not got the best team in the league, and many teams have better spines .

What we do have is work ethic , fitness , togetherness , a good style of play, a young hungry team , a good manager and good coaches.

We are a TEAM

Getting another season out of Fadz is a big bonus, replacing him is going to be a big challenge.
Also keeping Hamer and O'hare beyond this season will be difficult. (Unless we get promoted of course)

Though....if we end up near the top 6 this season, we might be able to attract osti back for a promotion push?
(Other centre backs who haven't played for us before are also available! 😀)

I’m sure when the day comes the management team will have an adequate (probably superior) replacement for Fadz lined up. We may just have to give him more than 35 minutes to bed in and develop (tough ask). For now though Fadz is surely playing the best, if not close to, football of his career.

He didn’t start in league football until 24 which helps his longevity probably and he has played a fair few games prior to joining us in the championship - he can probably go another year after this

Yes he’s been here 3 years and can’t remember him missing many games through injury

Rose needs to be pushing for Fadz place. Hopefully he remains injury free and shows the form that drew a lot of attention during our promotion season.

MR got a bit of stick at the time for arranging the pre season trip to Spain but it has really shown it’s worth on all your points above , MR has done this trip over the last few years apart from last year because of COVID because he knows it allows him to get the fitness levels he requires and the team bonding
