According to the Council they have always wanted the Club at the Ricoh, plus there is no way that anyone can deny that CCFC is the best sporting option that ACL could have as a tenant in the Arena..

The club yes, but sisu?

I certainly wouldn't deal with someone who has dragged me through the courts.

One doesn't come without the other until Sisu sell up which unfortunately I don't see happening..

But they're not going to agree to it on the eve of defending a costly court case, are they?

How about SISU strike out the JR, open the way for candid talks, and then congratulate your mate Labovich? Then, I like many would join you.

But until then, those of us who have grown cynical of their little twists and turns will simply consider it a way to lever advantage over the opponent they are about to face in court

This is what I mean... They SISU are a high risk plus if CCC do a deal and they keep attending court over every little things, then they will have to deal with the tax payers to explain how they have allowed spending on court cases to spiral.

Having SISU owning CCFC will not benefit the City of Coventry... new owners will open many doors but that is only if SISU sell. So we in for a long wait.

You've got pictures of AL? Presumably you took these before she dumped your sorry ass for someone with better taste in music.

This revelation certainly explains a lot about your demeanor.

You have to get to the punchline lyric, about 1m 55s in....

Naa. I only took videos. They're all on you porn if you search for them. If you turn the volume up you can clearly hear her screaming "so much bigger than grendull and it's nice to get more than two strokes" later on she says "if he sends me one more poem based on marillion lyrics I'm going to deliberately screw over he's beloved hedge fund" (apparently when he wasn't bleating on about fish it was all sisu this and sisu that).

Basically it's all grendulls fault. ;-)

Well why not? It would show on CCC's defence that they have always been willing to discuss any negotiations with Sisu/CCFC.. Surely that can only go in there favour?

My "mate" Labovich? I didn't have you down for the petulant type MMM, but I was wrong..

Well you continue on your "can't do no right from wrong mindset" because it's working wonders, you and many others have been moaning for months that Sisu haven't stepped up to negotiate with CCC yet the moment they try to make a call to get round the table, you can't see the good in it you just continuously undermine what they have done? Is there any point with people like you who can never be satisfied..

I see both sides trouble is Robo that sisu have caused so much heart break for some fans that anything they do will be rubbish.

I agree any sort of talks are good and all we want as fans is the team at the Ricoh short term and long term can be discussed. I still think and call me crazy we will start at Ricoh ..... Somehow

You could argue that the apparent "fact" that ML has made attempts to contact the council presumably to work something out with regards to the club and the Ricoh (although I believe he wasn't that specific) shows sisu aren't expecting to win or gain from the JR and the fact that CCC have blanked him shows they know this and are basically saying you've made your bed. Meaning this well timed statement is ML's attempt of saying we're the good guys we didn't want the JR we tried to sort it before hand.

That's one way of looking at it anyway.

That's not excusable KOK and I think no one attempts to defend it. However we have all seen that Michael Byng has been at Sixfields during the course of the season, if Mark Labovich has tried to contact CCC to pursue talks over the Ricoh then that's a good step in my eyes, but unfortunately you have people like MMM who just can't accept that and have to continuously be obnoxious.

Especially when you bare in mind that we have all wanted CCFC to return to the Ricoh for a year now.

Sorry Tony I am not going through the conspiracy theories yet..

What you are saying is true, perhaps, however Sisu haven't said anything about gaining anything from the JR, other than the truth to be known, but people will establish the true facts for themselves.

That said any attempt for us to return to the Ricoh needs to be applauded not ridiculed.

I don't think MM is in the least obnoxious, like me he just doesn't believe ML (errmm... I believe, MMM please correct me if I misspeak).

My view of ML is that he is the PR guy and that any offer of substance will come from JS and will not be made via the media.

Take a different view by all means, but I'm sticking to my guns..

Has anyone checked ML out for schizophrenia?

I'm surprised their advances were turned down so close to the JR!

As for saying its a distraction, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it SISU who brought on this distraction?

I really do not like this bloke much!!

"He said: "We are always open to talks. Me and Mr Byng worked hard behind the scenes to try and get a phone call between the council and Sisu about a fortnight ago which we hoped would get them back to the table."

What's Byng got to do with it? Wasn't he supposed to be a 'rival bidder' for SISU before pulling out / not making a bid after all? Was that all just a bluff?

His later statement sounds like we've just taken 12months of steps backwards.

Rob S hinted that there could be more legal action. It's not difficult to take ML's later statement as confirmation of that.

Well according to sisu's lawyers actual matchday costs at the Ricoh are only £2k.

I think even a very modestly supported phoenix club could afford that.

According to the judge it was't £2k

What did he say they were?

(It's never £2k surely, couldn't even pay the staff for that.)

Byng contacted the council?

So it wasn't the organ grinder, nor even the organ grinder's monkey, it was a flea on the back of the monkey that was entrusted with this task.

The council should have given him Haskell's number - they would still be bullshitting each other now.

Mystery solved: Byng tried emailing the council. Ended up setting his microwave to defrost. Embarrassed he told ML that the council said no.

I think it was early on day 1, sisu's QC trying to say that £200k was rent. Judge said it wasn't rent it was matchday costs, the £1.3m was the rent

I am surprised, and disappointed, that Mick Byng has, seemingly, thrown in his lot with these shysters.

I knew him many years ago and would have said that he had enough integrity to avoid becoming one of SISU's lapdogs. I can understand a few of the others (e.g. Reid and Sinclaire), who obviously like nothing better than having their egos massaged, signing up to the SISU appreciation society, but I thought better of Byng.

Wish people would stop keep saying his name. Everytime anyone says Bying I keep checking to see if my lasagne's ready.

In my opinion it would seem to me to be obvious that the council weren't going to do any meetings before the Judicial Review and whether it was Byng and Mr Labovitch, Bob Geldof and Mr Labovitch, Ban Ki-moon and Mr Labovitch etc. trying wouldn't have mattered. They initiated the Judicial Review and shouldn't be surprised by the council responses ahead of it.*

Now after the judgement is another matter....It's great that they want to talk but they picked the wrong time to try and initiate a conversation.
