SP is in a difficult situation right now that is for sure and I don't know whether he has the skills or experience to turn it around? The formation is irrelevant, whatever formation was used the results would have been the same. It is too easy just to blame SP and the biggest fault lies with players.
There is plenty of experience in this team despite youngsters coming through. In fact their passage has been too easy. Players have been coming to this club for years thinking it is okay to loose. It is acceptable to hide on the treatment table and pick up wages.
The scouting system above youth level seems appalling if not non existent. Too many signings seem to be based on desperation gambles, Tudgay this season for a start, he admitted himself he had no desire last year.
It is okay people saying SP has bought rubbish, but then so has Waggott. He has a bigger say in who comes and goes than Pressley. He controls the budget.
Pressley is right, people aren't winning their personal battles, people are making wrong decisions at the wrong time. We aren't vocal enough as a team. Not enough professional pride. You can train and practise all you want but come the game you have to perform. Once you cross the white line the team are on their own.
Pressley was brought here on the cheap, he should be supported and developed by the people who chose him. If he is not good enough then blame the people that hired him.
The club lacks leaders in every department, from Seppala down, Fisher, Waggott. We should have 4 or 5 captains out there. The club has no forward direction and no sense of pride, it hasn't for a long long time.
SP is the easy target. Lost the dressing room? There is no dressing room at Coventry, just a box of kittens. A bunch of people who are prepared to be losers. Fleck is over rated by the fans and so is Johnson.
it says something when our best performances have come from the likes of Haynes, Phillips and Maddison, they seem to be the ones trying to dig us out.
The lead should be coming from the likes of Webster, Johnson, Pugh, Fleck, O'Brien, Tudgay, McQuoid and Hines. They have plenty of experience to lead at this level. Don't talk about injuries, they can still lead in the dressing room and on the bench and training field.
it is time we demanded more from certain players rather than a blind chorus of sack the manager (yet again) play 4-4-2.
There is no formation that will win matches when people can't stand up as individuals or collectively as a team
