They either release him at the end of the season and put all their eggs in the Wentz basket, with his injury record and new questions over ability. Or they hold on to Foles, are forced to pay him $20m severely hampering their roster with Wentz's rookie contact soon to expire. Big decision for the Eagles.

Think a lot is going to depend on the Saints game. Wentz was terrible against the Saints GW9. Foles has a better showing (even a close defeat) and the pressure is on. Saints hammer Eagles again and it probably makes decision to stick with Wentz as franchise QB and let Foles go easier. Lot of teams need QBs and draft class is weak so Foles could bring in some quality draft picks.
No easy answer for this one.
