Just hit his lowest approval rating this year and his highest disapproval rating. Ted Cruz only just won Texas and they are having a run off in Mississippi. GM closing plants and laying people off. Coal not coming back and no new steel plants. Wouldn’t put my money on it.

No, you've put your money on Germany being allowed to continue to run a huge trade surplus at everyone else's expense. Ain't gonna happen.

56% of Germans want Merkel to stay the whole 3 years to the end of her term. 7 points more than in January.

How can 7 points more than January be the lowest since 2016?

You tell me about Macron. I do know that France was very bureaucratic and that employees have many “rights” such as long paid holidays and are difficult to sack, which discourages employers from employing people. Macron wants to reduce rights and encourage employers to take people on. A very hard task and he won’t expect short term popularity for it. Has no effect on the midterms or Trump though.

They defend those like the EU whatever they do. At the same time they jump on every bit of negativity they can find about us leaving even if they don't understand any part of it.

Yeah seen all that before. Just can't think of where though.......

What‘s all that crap about people jumping on to every bit of negativity. The media is full of examples of things going wrong with Brexit and virtually nothing going right. Not even you can find positives so you try to distract from the negatives. Hardly surprising that the discussion is about negatives.

Anything positive about Brexit to post?

So you fully agree with me but make out that you disagree with me.

I would also prefer to have someone who doesn't change his mind every few months because that is what he thinks the voting public wants to hear. Just like with our relationship with the EU. He wants in. He wants out. He isn't sure if he wants in or out. Can anyone tell me what he really wants on the subject?

I suppose most would agree that he wants out. He always wanted out until he became Labour leader. He was always very vocal on the matter.

So what would we get with him on the subject if he became PM? I want to vote for someone who I think will give me what I want. I want to vote for someone who will help my children and grandchildren. He just tells you what he thinks you want to hear.

I see you are like me and are a Labour voter. You said about the younger generations not having the same pensions and blamed it on my generation for some unknown reason. But when I pointed out that Gordon Brown was to blame for the demise of the final salary pensions you never mentioned it again.

You can't just blame certain generations. You need to look at the leadership and knowledge at the time. We have to play within the rules.

Never said it was about pensions?? If you continue to call young people gullible for voting Labour at the moment when the Tories promise to fuck them over, honestly, who am I supposed to vote for to meet your approval?

I have never seen reasoning from yourself about the situation. It has always been what is being taken away from you and those who might appreciate open borders. It is all about what will go wrong. There isn't a might on the subject. It is about the lies from one side. In fact there is no need to continue with what you constantly go on about. We know what it is.

How about your lack of compassion for those who have been affected? They are just thick to you. If anyone says anything that isn't pro EU they are anti EU.

Pensions were a big part of the rant. Older generations had the best of them. Your generation had the worse of them. They were your words. You then dropped the point when I said about the tax grab Gordon Brown did on pensions costing the system of final salary pensions.

You said about how you can't trust a Tory. I fully agreed with you. They are for the rich only. The poor and needy are just leppers that cost them tax money. But you don't like anything said against Labour. Yes they are a better bet than the Tories. But how about Corbyn? Let's forget about the skeletons in the closet. How about just keeping it on topic of the thread? He has stated he wants to stay in the EU. He has stated he wants out of the EU. He has stated that he doesn't know if he wants in or out of the EU. That isn't leadership. That is going with the flow. Saying what he thinks people want to hear. He wants to privatise utilities and similar. He wants to bring them back under the government ownership now. Can't do that when in the EU as it is against the rules and regulations.

I have never told you how to vote. I never have and never will. That is a personal choice. But no single party will solve our problems. They solve some but make more. Labour are for higher tax higher benefits. The Tories are for lower tax lower benefits. You take your pick.

You also tried to blame my generation for global warming. It is as though nothing happened until my generation came along. Yet you ignore the fact that your generation has become a throwaway generation. Phones you want to change every time there is a new one out. But your old one still works well. Cheap clothes that travel thousands of miles to get to you that don't last. Plastic containers for everything. New cars on loan. An old car that isn't Co2 efficient is much less polluting than building a new car that lasts just over 10 years that has a more efficient engine. Building an electric car is even more polluting when you consider where the battery comes from and then the generating of the electricity to charge it. Everyone wants a car. We all have a part to play on the matter. No generation is perfect.

My lack of compassion?

What the fuck are you banging on about? I volunteer at a local foodbank to help out some of the poorest in Brighton, which doesn’t actually have anything to do with the EU but to say I lack compassion with those in need is, yet again, bollocks.

Oh yeah and I also take part in raising money for those within the city who are homeless, again, also completely out of my own free time.

You spend your time claiming to be neutral, yet spend your time attacking the EU and remain voters, while also ignoring those who are for Brexit at any cost.

Where do I start?

You never say a word about anything I say about May and the Tories. But if I dare say anything against Labour it is a totally different matter.

There is nobody screaming and shouting that Brexit is a good idea. But they mention what good might come from it. And it sets you off again.

You like to make out that the millions of people that have come to live here in the UK have made no difference to the homeless situation. I mention that of course it makes a difference. Everyone needs somewhere to live. Then you go off on another one saying that I am scapegoating anyone who has come here to live. But somehow you miss me saying without a doubt that governments from both sides have failed us. Then you go off on one for me saying Labour has a part in it. You ignore they were in power during the time of our population boom.

There are problems with the way the EU is run. Macron has just said the same. Yet you didn't reply when I posted a link to it. Yet who is surprised? You think we should let everybody in who wants to come without addressing the problems we currently have. Fuck the homeless. It is a government thing only. You are not interested in solving the problems first. You also believe that anyone with an EU passport should come here before anyone else. This includes those with the skills we need.

I agree with a lot of what you say. But if I dare to disagree with the slightest thing you go off on one. Is your opinion always right? Are you the only one allowed to have an opinion?

OK. I am not allowed to mention anything bad about the EU. I am not allowed to mention the homeless situation. Is there anything else that you don't want me to mention? Is it suddenly all the fault of the Tories and not the fault of Labour at all? Doesn't it matter how many people who live in the UK when we already don't have enough homes for them? Am I allowed to say how bent the UK government is but not allowed to mention how bent the EU is? Am I allowed to say how bad it could get for the UK but not allowed to mention anything at all that could be good?

Yes your opinion counts and mine doesn't. I get you.
